I wasn't old enough to hate the move from 10-12, but I absolutely get it now. I can't imagine a world where I ever look back on the addition from 12-14 in 2012 as a good thing.

nobody is going to struggle financially because the SEC added the two teams, but I question whether or not it was worth adding 2 teams to what was a pretty great setup just for the sake of a little cash.

That's your prerogative. But even assuming the SEC won't experience a substantial monetary gain (and it will), the additions haven't put you out.

I get "if ain't broke don't fix it," but I don't get "I'm mad because we mildly improved a working product."

The CBS deal changed big time. They get the same amount of games, for the same price but allow ESPN or at least the ESPN run SECN to compete against the sacred 3:30 game.

Otherwise you have 6+ games jammed between 12-3 and 7-midnight

The all day SECN with 3 games, and as many as 6 SEC teams per week is huge. SEC pre game. SEC post game. SEC tailgating shows, etc from 10am-midnight 14 Saturdays a year.

CBS just gets the pick of the litter.

Regarding 2011 revenue versus 2015 revenue, the question is - absent the addition of Mizzou/TAMU would the SECN exist?

I actually don't known the answer. But that will be the difference between the revenue pie for 2011 versus 2015.

$300 million in 12 slices is a lot better than 14, but could it ever have happened. Sone said the SEC would need to be at 16 to match what the B1G and Pac12 bring in population centers.

The Big 12 gave out $22 million per school to 8 schools while TCU and WVU only got $11 million. What a terrible and uneven conference.

I'm not sure that West Virginia was able to even cover their travel budget with $11 M. I don't see them sticking with the XII long term. If an ACC spot opens up, they are GONE! To hell with the GoR.

I agree completely, but that is also a double-edged sword. It's going to dilute our 3:30 ratings on CBS to some degree.
