Wrong. They have been voted champion in football. They have never won a game that has resulted in a national championship.

Ole Miss has a natty in football recognized by the same shady NCAA that is currently burning the Ole Miss football program to the ground.

Didn't you guys just get done with an investigation of a women's basketball program?

But in all seriousness, knocking off UCONN and the NCAA's sweetheart Kelsey Plum probably has us on the short list for an investigation. Its a lot like beating Bama in football.

If you consider that a natl title then Miss State's title of 1941 stands as well.

Getting lucky and beating Bama a few times is NOT what got you hammered. The rampant obvious cheating did.

NCAA doesn't recognize them as national champions that year like they do Ole Miss for 1960. That's the difference.

Beating Alabama is what kicked the NCAA investigation into a higher gear.

Weird, bc when you search that it shows that the Minnesota Gophers won that year.

NCAA recognizes it as an "unofficial" championship. They also recognize Minnesota as winning it the same year as unofficial.

No they don't. Check the records book for yourself. Only Alabama, Minnesota, and Texas got selections that year.

Does this include tennis since that's also played on a court?

when state was in the CWS final, i vaguely remember the announcers talking about how they were 1 of 4 Div 1 schools to have never won a national championship. i believe kansas state was one of the others
