what's up with Lattimore. reminds me of Alshon taking a step back in his junior year.

Coming back from a ACL injury can have that effect.

I like to think of Lattimore in comic book terms. Over the course of the season he's steady, dependable, but not overly flashy. Gets the job done to make sure the goods guys keep winning.

But every now and then, trouble will arise and something more will be required. That's when he jumps in the nearest telephone booth, rips off his shirt... and busts off 250 yards on Georgia.

What you are seeing now is Clark Kent... What you get in two Weeks...

That program was shite for 10 years.

Like I said...you invented easy scheduling. Leave Florida for an OOC game and then come back with this nonsense.

No, but I guess we can trade you Buffalo and Fau for the Ragin Cajuns and Jacksonville State and call it even

But what is his point?
Lattimore has to tote the rock roughly double the amount of times Gurley does, in order amass the same amount of yardage.

Difference is everyone prepared to stop Murray for UGA, Lattimore is everyone's focus when playing SC.

Psstt. UGA can talk about Lattimore all they want.. though it doesn't really make sense coming from a team that allows nearly 200 total yards average against him.

Bahaha I can't believe you actually just posted this. You are truly one of the worst posters on this board and you use (....) too much. There are other forms of punctuation you know?

It's interesting that Alabama doesn't have a RB on that list. I think that our offense is finally truly balanced, where both the passing game and running game need to be accounted for, and we don't rely just on our RBs, even though we could if needed.

Is this what yall say when Lacy doesn't light the world up like we heard this summer?

If you told me at the beginning of the season that the top 5 wouldn't consist of Lattimore, Knile, or any RB from Bama I would have called you crazy.

That's the point. Right now Bama is not relying on one RB to carry the load. We're playing several freshmen, Yeldon, Drake, Hart, to get them ready for next year.

In fact, I was a little upset that Saban kept our 2nd and 3rd stringers in at the end of the FAU game. Was hoping for a shutout, but Saban is developing for the next year.

You just contradicted yourself.

UGA has gameplanned for Stephen Garcia the past 2 seasons. We got him to play so poorly that he almost cost you the game last season.

So we gameplan for Garcia and you beat your chest about Lattimore. FAIL.

Yep...as a true freshman, Lattimore pops off 190 yards and the only 2 TDs scored in the game. So what does Grantham do the next season? "we gone gameplan to stop GARCIA, y'all". Makes sense to me, too.....

So are you trying to say that Gurley is getting the full load of carries for Georgia's offense?

Nothing could be farther from the truth....

NAME CAR YDS AVG LONG TD
Todd Gurley 44 406 9.2 55 (TD) 6
Keith Marshall 42 264 6.3 52 (TD) 3
Ken Malcome 26 152 5.8 30 1

Gurly is averaging 5.56 ypc and has 139 yds with 2 TD's in the first half of games this year. He has 108 yards and 2 TD's in the 4th quarter. Yeldon and Lacy have a combined 19 carries in the second half of games this year.

He's a beast, but some of you need to stop acting like he isn't racking up stats late in the second half in blowout victories against horrible teams. Yeldon,Lacy,Hilliard,Gillislee,Perkins,Stacy, Lattimore,Lawrence,Davis,Blue,Sanders,Neal,ect.. all have more first half yards than Gurly. 341 of his 406 yards are against Buffalo,FAU and Vandy. When up by 15+ points he ranks 5th nationally with half of his yards/TD's coming when UGA is leading comfortably.
