Mount lard arse took off his helmet while the play was still going on and his lard arse should have gotten a penalty regardless of what any of the clowns at the SEC office say about it
I guess they don't stress reading comprehension at Jacksonville State.

this is a rule that needs cleaning up- it allows you to commit a foul without penalty in some circumstances--
So what incentive is there not to break the rules?
All infractions should have consequences- but then SEC officials are not having a good season so I guess they give them a pass?

Bump once again for people who still have trouble with reading comprehension.

You don't have to believe the SEC, just look the rule up yourself.
Simple.

I just said it doesn't matter. They flag Alabama, and we still take over. Its a 1st and 25 with no time left on the clock. What would be the point?
No, actually after assessing the 15 yards, it would be 1/10, not 1/25.

Regardless, its a change of possesion and Alabama's ball at the 13 yard line.

I don't get why this whole tthing is so hard to comprehend.
The best example is a runner taunting a defender prior to scoring. The USC occurred while the ball was live, but it is penalized on the try or the kickoff because it is penalized as a dead ball foul.
It's really a pretty simple concept.

I obviously comprehend. I linked the original link in this very thread.

Did I mention you in my post anywhere as not comprehending?
Posted on 10/25/09 at 11:29 pm to 62zip
You responded directly to my post, so it's hard for me to tell.

Sorry for any confusion, but I was speaking in general.

If you go back and watch the tape Cody takes his helmet off while the ball is still live. As in no one had recovered it(For you slower gumps out there) If the ball was dead he could have taken his helmet off with no penalty, but please if you have DVR go back and watch it. IT IS A LIVE BALL WHEN CODY TAKES HIS HELMET OFF, THERE IS NO WAY TO SPIN IT.

Please God read the rule. Even if they throw a flag, its still Alabama's ball because it crossed the line of scrimmage. Its like kicking a FG and missing it wide right or whatever. Doesn't matter if you kicked on first down and Cody punched your kicker in the face. The game is over.

cody should of ran over to Lane and punched him in the face and then slapped Layla on the vag after he blocked it.

There is nothing to spin.
Unsportsmanlike fouls are always penalized as dead-ball fouls.
You don't have to believe me. Look it up.

See? Like I said...
He has no clue. that's exactly what I was talking about.

Watched it again. Ball doesn't go past the line of scrimage. Tennessee could have picked the ball up and ran it in the endzone. I still don't see how taking your helmet off during a live play is not a penalty, even if it the last play of the game.

Anyway its over, Bama and Florida both suck...Hook em Horns. I'm hoping to see an Iowa Vs. Texas game atleast that way we know both teams went through their seasons without having dirty officials making calls.
PS did anyone see the fear in Saban's eyes during the press conference he knows Kiffin can coach. Only a matter of time boys.
