A play becomes dead by rule; the whistle is simply an indicator that the play is already dead.

*IF* it had been a foul, it would have been Unsportsmanlike Conduct. All USC fouls are enforced as dead ball fouls. A live ball foul enforced as a dead ball foul does not extend the period.

The kid made a block that won the game..LET THEM CELEBRATE...As much as I wanted to beat Bama..I think it would have been a bullshite call. You don't want a "CHEAP WIN" that way..But Hell, the way Lincoln was kicking..I don't know that 15 yards closer would have mattered.. Bama has a great kicker..we don't..Got one coming next year in the Parlady kid from St.Thomas Aquinas...and they are supposedly recruiting another kicker from Maryville Tn who routinely puts them in the endzone..Bama won the game.PERIOD.

What about a penalty for #8 leaping and landing on a lineman? LSU had that against Auburn a few years back. Stupid rule but still a rule.

I would be disgusted at the thought of the official calling that penalty. We didnt beat bama in 60 minutes. That's it.

The SEC office has no credibility after all the horrible calls by the referees this year.
Mount lard arse took off his helmet while the play was still going on and his lard arse should have gotten a penalty regardless of what any of the clowns at the SEC office say about it

I just said it doesn't matter. They flag Alabama, and we still take over. Its a 1st and 25 with no time left on the clock. What would be the point?

I agree it would have been a bullshite call. He made a good play let me celebrate. Great game by both us and the bammers. I just wish we had another kicker who wasn't a douche bag.

Game was over, if time ran out. No penalty cause the game was over. Bama's luck ends in less than two.
