My commute was pretty tame except for 1 traffic light on Lakeshore being out
The one at Lakeshore and 65? I hit that one too
My area (Cahaba Heights) got nailed yesterday morning but none of the houses in my neighborhood got hurt. It missed us by about a .75 mile

I haven't talked to him, but I know the area that he lives in. Tornado missed that area, so he should be fine. I'll shoot him an email in a second.

No that one was still functioning. It was the light at Lakeshore and Oxmoor. Traffic was backed up almost to my apartment because of that clustermess.
Oh and just found out the power is back on at home

All OK in central GA. We obviously dodged a bullet. Those to the West of us were not so lucky. Prayers out to all the victims and families.

Glad y'all are safe and sound... Prayers to all who have family and loved ones who have been killed, hurt, or displaced.

Just heard that some family of mine in Northwest GA had much of their property destroyed. They are all ok but they said it looked like a war zone outside.

I'm trying to donate some money to the Tuscaloosa area Red Cross but their website isn't coming up. Anybody got any other idea how to get money to them?

Ok here no power but least of worries compared to what others are currently going through. Thoughts and prayers for everyone.

I'm okay...nothing was lost that can't be replaced. Also, anyone on here that resides in the counties that have a dusk to dawn curfew..respect that please. LEO's are stretched thin and nerves will be frayed. A bag of ice isn't worth facing an overwhelmed 22 year old with a gun in the middle of the night. I just spoke with a party I know who is in a admin role & a couple of his young officers lost everything.

NBamaAlum, glad you are ok...anything I can do to help? And I mean that sincerely.

Don't give to Red Cross... find another charity where more of the money you donate will find its way to the victims.

Take a second and talk to whatever higher power you believe in. Go hug your parents. Tell a totally random person that you hope they have a good day. Smile.
Lots of people are hurting right now. Turn this horrible event into something good.

As of right now I have not found any. I did provide a link to the local Red Cross where you can donate to a specific county. West Ala. is not up currently. Only other suggestions as of now might be local churchs that do work.

Can do. But if you do need anything, do not hesitate to ask me aubiesezbiteme@yahoo.com

Thank you. Right now I've got everything I need, but your willingness is so very much appreciated. I think I lost a client though, as I haven't been able to reach him all day and he lived in an area that ended up looking a JDAM went off. I never have filed a motion to dismiss based on a death, and I don't know if I can keep from crying when I do.

So have we determined that all of our people are okay?

I believe there are some, who no one has heard from, but that can somewhat be expected. Lines of communication are down. Feel free to unsticky if you must.

No, I was just wondering...
Hope everyone's okay!
