I know one thing.....the refs last night were also at the Swamp previously and they love TV time....it was a flag fest and takes the fun out of football...we could never get our offense to gel with so many flags.

They let Auburn's Malzahn get away with a cheap one at the end off half time by letting them walk off the field without time expiring. They also let a running into the kicker penalty go.

They still won't call holding calls against Myles Garrett.

It was odd that the refs made Auburn come back out of the tunnel only to claim that there was no time left. There HAD to be at a minimum two seconds left.

The holds on Garrett... I get that many will be non calls, but when you see him getting tackled an no called.

I thought they get the non targeting call correct; that was just an outstanding example of drilling a WR.

OK, they may not be very good but at least they are honest.

Did you see the BDF crew trying to help texas last night in the early minutes of the game?

That was also a a BDF replay person that did not ball targeting against texas when the played Notre Dame.

The same BDF replay offical was responsible for giving the loss to Oklahoma State.

Ours may not be great but they are a lot better than any other conference.

Two of Ole Miss' touchdowns shouldn't have happened, at least on the plays that they did.

Hurts' fumble there were two penalties that they blew including a terrible targeting call. I'm pretty sure it broke Hurts' face mask. Then there was a personal foul when the returner was on the 10-15yd line yet the refs said he was in the end zone.

One of the last touchdown the Ole Miss receiver shoved the defender almost 5 yards away in the end zone to catch the ball. It was terrible.

Just encase anyone thought the hit on Hurts wasn't helmet to helmet. Plain as day.

Arkansas at Florida 2009 is a perfect example of how shitty our refs are in this league.

Even though they still tried to screw us (especially with the helmet to helmet hit on Hurts, which lead to the fumble, which lead to the botched call on the personal foul that was prior to the TD), it wasn't quite as bad as what we usually have to deal with. I mean, it sucks having to beat both the refs and the opposing teams year after year, but Bama fans are use to it by now. So it was refreshing that the refs didn't try and screw us as much as they usually do in this game.

Except that it was "running" into the kicker, and the other "weak call" was the personal foul on Leo Lewis. You say it was weak because ESPN did not let the replay run long enough and Ed Cunningham said there was no personal foul. What they did not show was that after the play, the ref stepped in to separate the two players. Then Leo Lewis reached across the ref and poked the LSU player through his face mask. It was a dead ball personal foul, and all ESPN showed was the action during the play that let to the personal foul.

And speaking of refs, they gifted you 4 extra points in a "breathing on the kicker" penalty in a 3 point win.

I saw some bad officiating today. I think Greg Sankey will reprimand some officials and suspend some players Monday.

Do you think he will suspend his stupid replay officials. LSU got burned twice by the replay boys in Bham in our late game swoon.

LF was ruled to have fumbled after making the line to gain on a 4th down and LSU recovered the ball a few yds upfield. By rule on 4th down LF was the only person who could make the recovery for gained yardage so the ball was spotted at the point of the fumble and was still ruled a 1st down. Replay looked at this and ruled the spot was 1 ft to generous and gave he ball over to MSU. There was no indisputable video evidence to overrule the call on the field because there was not camera angle that gave you that accurate of a spot. They took almost 10 min to look at that indisputable evidence.

Same thing on a sideline pass that was ruled no catch out of bounds. Replay overruled the field call without a backside view of the play and that was where the ref was standing. Reciever foot was in bounds but possession was the key call here.

Hurts wasn't targeting he wasn't defenseless and the hit wasn't initiated with the crown of the helmet. There are two rules: one protects defenseless players; one protects all players. Neither occurred.

On the strange unnecessary roughness call.. it probably shouldn't have been flagged at all. But as called.. idk what the frick the refs were doing. Terrible officials

Both of the replays from the past (barn and ole mi$$) that they showed during the games were blown calls that cost Bama the games. Both had illegal linemen down field

The trick play/pass to Cam Robinson was an illegal play too.

Are you shitting me? The first point of contact was the crown of the defender's helmet to the facemask.
