Saban would not be where he is today without LSU, and LSU would not be where it is today without Saban.

Both were sleeping giants that needed a similar counterpart to "wake up" and thrive.

So please let's never hear this shite again about how Saban built LSU. Or that Saban's fingerprints are on LSU's success. IT's LSU's pawprints that are on Saban's success.

This is just retarded. Saban absolutley built LSU. Dinardo brought in some key recruits like Kevin Faulk, Bradie James, Josh Reed, and Rohan Davey. But Saban changed the mentality of this fanbase and this program. We used to storm the field anytime we beat a ranked team. Under Saban, it became expected of us to beat a ranked team.

And Les Miles has done a fantastic job improving the program. There are many coaches who fall flat on their face after taking over for a successful coach. But he understands what Saban did here, and what he needs to do to make it better.
