Maybe ESPN is learning the hard lesson that they aren't omnipotent even in sports matters. We may be biting the hand that feeds us but it's time they realized that they don't get to dictate everything because of their money. They should have a say, but it shouldn't be THE final word every time. Like forcing LSU to play a day game. You wanna televise it? Good, LSU is kicking off at 7:00. That doesn't fit your schedule? Too bad. 3PM doesn't fit LSU's. That's the shite I'm tired of.
Maybe Kanell and Brandeaux can have sympathy/consoling butt sex as they are cut from the same cloth.

It had nothing to do with his SEC hate, for me. He is just a prick/troll. He used to troll SVP, for goodness sake. I am a huge Russillo fan and catch his radio show often. Kanell brought very little entertainment to it. I will miss Russillo. Kanell leaving ESPN is no loss, at all.

You guys are just haters if you are reveling in Kannell being laid off. ESPN going with personality driven content? DK was different from everything ESPN pushed in their radio/podcast lineup and he and Russullo were gold. RK was the one thing left of ESPN that I enjoyed strictly based on the fact they were sports driven. As business owner I know you stick with the niche that got you to the top. You never abandon it when times get tough or make cuts to your niche to promote a new niche that is not in line with the original mission of the company. If anything, you invest more in what got you to the top because usually bad quarters/numbers mean you have veered to far away from the original mission: SPORTS!!!!! ESPN, SPORTS IS YOUR MISSION!!!

I didn't mind that he hated the SEC. I hated his antics about it. He was low class. And, when you compare his whining twitter comment to all the others, it is very apparent that he has no class and is the bottom of the barrel. An A-Hole.
