Just read an article that the Kanell's got $1.2 mill when they sold their Ft. Lauderdale home so they could move to the Bristol area. I think he is doing just fine financially.

I have never tried to say that you were happy about Richt losing his job. Just pointing out I think a few people in this thread realize that at one point they probably didn't have an issue with being happy over a coach being fired.

Considering you're replying to me and my posts, I'm going to take this as "you were probably happy when Richt got fired you hypocrite".

Wouldn't you say that Richt was a good guy as well? I don't know much about him except basic stuff but it seems to be most Georgia fans liked his personality off the field.

Yeah, we did. There wasn't much you could hold against the guy off the field.

That's not the point here, though. If posters in this thread were happy he was fired because he was some low-life piece of shite instead of because he trolls their team on twitter, it would be a little different.

I hate to see folks lose their jobs but in this case I'll make an exception.

I won't miss you Danny.

What? In my first response to you I ask if you criticized the people happy over the Richt firing. If anything that infers that you weren't happy about it.

I didn't think that was really the point either but you brought up Kanell being a "good guy", which I don't disagree with BTW

While this applies to some, it certainly doesn't apply to all. A few have already explained what their issue was with him.

rarely agreed with his commentary but I can't cheer somebody losing their job simply because the company wasn't doing well. Lay offs suck.

That depends on the home's payoff.

If he still owed $900,000 on it....

And for the most part, it has to do with his bias against their team or the SEC. Which puts me back to my original point that it's pathetic that there are so many posters rejoicing in this thread because a seemingly good guy with good intentions lost his job, because they disagreed about sports.

The point is.....if he can own a $1.2M home, he isn't hurting for money. His kids aren't going hungry.

Ya, that isn't something I necessarily disagree with if those thoughts apply to when a HC is fired as well. That was my only point.

Janelle was good

ESPN is getting away from knowledgeable sports people and gravitating towards former strippers who can talk and social justice advocates.

Poured my heart and soul into ESPN for last 8 years. Moved my wife and 3 kids to CT to go "all in" 5 years ago. Bummed it ended in 3 minutes

Do you know what the homes appraised value was?
Do you know if he was upside down or not on his mortgage?
Do you know if he was in a time crunch to sell and basically broke even to get out of the note and not have two mortgages?

Selling a home for 1.2 million doesnt really mean jack if he owed more than selling price.
