Well mine is public record and is pretty good, but nothing spectacular. I do like to bitch about the cost of living in DC. Folks in the deep South and Texas have it made in that department.

Young people graduating today face a much tougher market though, sad to say.

I am not calling anyone in particular a liar. I am just saying that just using common sense you can tell that these numbers are too high across the board. There is just no way that averaging all majors together MSU grads would be averaging 80k after 15 years.

it is, somehow, worse than Winston-Salem. That's the worst thing I can really level at a mid-sized city.
I lived in between Winston and Mt Airy. There's nothing to do in my city so I'm fond of Winston. I never go to Waughtown though lol.
I probably spent more time in Stanleyville tbh.

This statement can be said of all the schools sans Vandy. Isn't Elementary Education the most popular major at 13 of the 14 schools?

That's probably my fault. Sorry not sorry.

Right?! Exactly what I was thinking.

quote:Really? I dont think that number is too crazy of an average. Engineers at 37 years old will be making well into the 6 figures, any accounting major will be making right at 6 figures at 37, and even the bullshite degreed people will be making in the 60s or 70s at 37

Possibly, then factoring in the social sciences, liberal arts, etc.

I think looking at the medians instead of the averages would give a much better idea, but regardless some of the schools on this list are very impressive.

I think if you probably knocked 10-15k off of each school it would be closer to being right.

I'm sticking with my narrative that we're held back by having 56% female student body, and half of them (in Ole Miss' case) never work a day in their lives.

I don't think it's all that bad though, not the best place either.
How long did it take you to figure out how to get around that town? Ive been up there more than a few times, and still can figure out the rods/interstate. Totally fricked up.

I am guessing that they were not the people reporting their salaries though. As far as I know payscale relies on self-reporting. You could go with the narrative that Ole Miss people are more honest.
ETA: Also, I don't know what the sample sizes are here.
