It is all about Engineering. After Vandy, you have the big Engineering Schools and then you see a slight dropoff. Thats all this is

I'd say he seriously skews the numbers for Kent State.

I Imagine it would look pretty similar if you started factoring in grad schools, med schools, law schools, etc.

They're not counting law and medical salaries, obviously.

An annual salary of $72,000 a year is poor?

What planet do you live on? What a stupid comment

Agreed. If 72000 is poor then sign me up to be poor.

I don't care that much now, but I just might in 15 years.

Not poor, but I make a good bit more than that and would be better off making $65K in La or Texas. Annual salary figures (in that range) are meaningless without factoring in cost of living.

Go right ahead, not my home just where I go to school. I don't think it's all that bad though, not the best place either.

Ole Miss grads are hit and miss - standard deviation is off the charts.

Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants - Yes sir.

Run of the mill Ole Miss grad - eh, degrees in Social Work and History of the South don't pay that well.

Come to think of it - there's more attorneys per capita in Mississippi than needed. Had a partner in one of the big firms in Jackson tell me that he could hire a middle of the pack Ole Miss Law school grad for $30k.

It is, somehow, worse than Winston-Salem. That's the worst thing I can really level at a mid-sized city.

I am guessing they are relying on people self-reporting their salaries? I am not sure if I trust these numbers. They seem a bit high.

This is an average of all graduates. Less people go to Vandy for a bullshite degree then go to Ole Miss or Alabama. Business, engineering, or law, you you are going to make about the same no matter which SEC school you go to. BUT alabama has bullshite liberal arts degrees and chicks getting diamond diplomas that bring our average down.

But I'm 5 years after graduating and I still make more then the average. And yes thats an internet brag
