The Grove is a bit overrated. I think people are starting to realize this.

I guess that's why it keeps popping up in magazines and websites as one of the best tailgating experiences in the SEC.

Its overrated unless your 19 and add kool aid to your poison. It doesn't offer anything that any number of other tailgating destinations don't offer, except trees. Plus the people suck.

Wow way to generalize 80,000 people whom you've never met.

I've tailgated at UGA and Texas. The Grove blows both of those places out of the water.

I hope you are trolling.

The Junction is still a little underrated. The main problem is that it's a little too family oriented.

The middle of the junction is definitely not family oriented.

Totally gonna take the opinion of a completely unbiased MSU fan to heart when it comes to the quality of the tailgating experience at Ole Miss.

They really need to work on the jumbotron ads though. I think most state fans I know hate all the cheesy commercials that play throughout the game.

Has been confirmed directly from Stricklin that there will be no in-game ads this season whatsoever. Will all be restricted to pre-game and halftime.

I agree -- they were total mood killers. Wish our AD(and fans for that matter) would watch the 2010 Arkansas game and just copy that. Was the best we've obeyed the cowbell compromise while actually yelling -- and the best overall atmosphere in DWS in quite a few years...

Agree. The junction can get rowdy. Always enjoyed my time in Starkville

I hope you're trolling because Texas doesn't tailgate before their games. They dont' even show up until the 2nd qtr.

The whole armpit of the South thing is really getting old. Starkville doesn't claim to be the BEST college town in America unlike another school

Ole Miss fans claim that because national publications and a large contingent of people who have been in Oxford state it.
