Florida championship scenarios:

1. 7-1 (28%)
2. 6-2 with a Tennessee loss (40%)

Tennessee championship scenarios:

1. 6-2 with a Florida loss (23%)

Kentucky championship scenarios:

1. 6-2 with 2 Florida losses (5%)

There are obviously other scenarios, but they are so unlikely that they aren't worth mentioning

So, would you take 20-1 odds on Kentucky winning the East right now?

I think I would.

We are nearly to November and there is a scenario with 5% likelihood that Kentucky wins the East.... my goodness the East is horrible.

Kentucky's next 3 games are Miss State, at Mizzou and Georgia. All 3 should be competitive, could lose them all or win them all. If they win them all, it's going to get real interesting. I'm not holding my breath though. The Cats have a way of letting me down on the gridiron. But, it is set up for them to do it if they're ever going to.

We are by no means world beaters but we will win all remaining games, while Florida is not beating Arky and LSU on the road.

Not so fast...If your scenario plays out and Vanderbilt beats UT, they could also beat Auburn, Missouri and Ole Miss...they have the head to head vs UGA...Vanderbilt wins the East.

In order for that to happen, TN would have to lose another game. I do not see that scenario at 40%. What were the factors for their equations ?

I don't think UF will win out either but it's possible that UT loses another game. Vandy just beat a team that UT needed a miracle Hail Mary to beat . Bama dominated UT just as much as they did Kentucky . If UT has a bad game they can still loose another conference game.

I would think UT at 6-2 with a Florida loss is the most likely scenario right now, I doubt Florida goes unbeaten the next 4 games, but hey, anything is possible. It's not like any team left on UF's schedule is a world beater according to the rant.
