As a whole, do the SEC have the biggest and most athletic Defensive lines ever this year?

No.

Outside of Bama, Florida, and LSU, there's nothing outer-worldly about the remainder of the SEC's DL's.

Clemson's, NC St's, and FSU's are as athletic or better.

Georgia defense finished ranked higher than Florida St. and NC St. On top of that they return 10 starters. How about you just gtfo the SEC thread.

All I can say to that is the future is looking mighty bright for LSU. Tigers have outrecruited bama on the defensive side of the ball these last two cycles.

On the Dawgs 2 deep only one Dlineman is under 6'4 (Michail Carter who is 6'3) The line is not just big but most were highly rated out of High School. I don't think our Dline have ever been this big on the 2 deep. I think LSU and Bama's Dline is bigger.

Oregon has a bunch of 300 pound tall dudes. They hold up as well as a wet paper bag too.

Last time I checked stars didn't guarantee a solid unit.

Can all but guarantee that Mizzou will have a better DLine then the stars dictate. Seems to always be anther 1st Rnd DLineman in the pipeline.

If Shelvin can get his shite together our D-Line will be dominant.

then why is bama's rated so highly? payne is the only dlineman that has done much of anything during his time at the capstone.

I have no idea how Phil Steele rates them. But Alabama has a track record of developing the DL. Karl Dunbar is a damn good DL coach.

Not close. Ed Oliver and Christian Wilkins are both much better than Simmons at this point. And those 2 were without even thinking much about great DTs.

Ed Oliver is a fricking animal. He has insanely quick feet for his size.
