You do know Butch played football, right? Cause y'all sound pretty dumb.

Butch played flute and D2 football

Saban was a grease monkey and played D1 football

Not really. He's a good a good sized mouth though.

I actually think if you get past his crazy-eyed spittle defense that Muschamp would have the biggest glass jaw out of any of the coaches. Guys like him who like to scream and bully too much often go down easy. That said, he will definitely go for your soft spots if you don't lay him out.

Miles would probably be the toughest standard fighter simply because he seems like the nicest guy in the world. He'd beat you up, laugh, help you up and buy you a beer.

Malzahn would be the sneakiest, most most conniving, mofo. You'd never know he was gonna stab you until he stood grinning like a loon over your crumpled body.

Saban knows he's too old to fight and that it's unbecoming of a gentleman of his stature so he'd just sic his daughter on you and laugh wildly as you got whipped by a girl. (Wild laughter for Saban being a slight grin).

Jones is a scrapper. Not the best fighter but not the worst. You'd want him at your back in a bar fight although he may not win every one on one.

Freeze. Probably not a fighter but I have the feeling he's the kind of guy that would use ANFO to blow your place (and a 1 mile radius surrounding it) to smithereens and after that was done torment your family for 7 generations.

I think so - Toledo won the MAC in 1970 at 12-0, went to the Tangerine Bowl and finished 12th in the AP Poll.

This is a legitimate concern (the nice guy-keep to himself type). There was this kid in high school that would never speak and liked to hold the basketball when we would all pile in the gym (he never played, just sat there). One day a couple of regular gym guys grabbed his ball and wouldn't give it back. He sat there...stewing. They kept taunting. He sat there quietly, stewing more, and turning a maroon color. They kept on. He let out this primal scream that could only be compared to a predatory bird that had been set on fire. Commences to laying waste to all three. Their yells of pain were ear-splitting. Got his ball back. Set down not saying a word and just waited. He knew that the resource officer was on his way to take him in. The officer came and got him and we never saw the kid again.

It's always a shame that the kid that stands up to his tormentors is always the one that winds up getting in trouble. I have a hard time thinking that the 1 in a 3 vs. 1 fight deserves to be punished so severely just because he whipped them. Plus, it sounds like that kid might've been on the autistic spectrum and that those asshats deserved an asswhoopin. /rant

10. Miles- he's so goofy and aloof I can't even picture him in a fight, but he beats the coaches below him because that dude he's married to looks pretty tough.

As I have said before, nobody beats crazy and Miles is full blown bonkers.

Dooley was/is just as crazy but it's in a different way. His press conferences were like a bad acid trip. He had none of Miles' charm. You had to pay more attention to notice that he was full blown bonkers but bonkers he was.

Yeah, the kid had something. He took different classes as this was a public school. I don't even remember his name. After it happened word quickly got around school that he summoned "special strength" when mauling these guys. Everyone knew that when we saw him again to make sure he kept his ball and leave him the F alone (but he never came back). It was epic. He was beating the crap out of them almost with some "inner peace", after his primal scream of course. I watched in amazement as I don't think his pulse ever got that high and if I remember correctly, I don't think the kid even blinked.

Those are the ones I always wonder whatever became of/how are they doing now. We had a kid at my high school who would only speak in beeps - two for yes and one for no. But he genuinely seemed like a good kid. Never bothered anybody but I know people talked about him. He wasn't in my grade so I don't know if he ever got harassed but I kinda imagine he might've unleashed primal hell like the kid you mentioned.

Hope he turned out okay and is living happily ever after but I know this world ain't kind to people who have any kind of disability that makes them appear too aloof and strange. People are kinder to the outgoing happy disabled these days but not the ones like that that just weird people out by being so introverted.

Need to compare height and weights. I think Mullen and Smart both played TE in college so they are both pretty big guys.

OP made fun of every coach but his own which was kinda foul. But the Miles joke was no worse than the Butch joke. Any posters RA'ing this thread are too damn sensitive.

Besides, this thread is entertaining and if the mods find that one part too be too much they should just edit the OP and leave the thread alone.

If history is any indication, then it was definitely too much. They're pretty sensitive about the wife.
