Baseball needs to move around (Frisco, Memphis, Pensacola, New Orleans, Jackson, Gwinnett, etc).

Agreed. I wasn't opting for a permanent place in Frisco, just the the DFW area is awesome, and it would be a great venue.

Yea, and I'd honestly be ok moving the basketball tournament around too but Nashville has become a pretty good setup for it. Centralized, the arena is right on Broadway so the atmosphere is great and it is right in the sweet spot for the league's most passionate basketball fanbases (Arkansas, Kentucky, even Mizzou and Tennessee to an extent).

I think a
Georgia Dome
Super Dome
Edward Jones Dome
Reliant Stadium

rotation would be cool.

Staying in ATL keeps the ACC from getting a foothold there.

This is a huge part of it. If the SEC left Atlanta the ACC would move in with the quickness.

And would move in right as Atlanta was opening the newest, most state of the art (and expensive) stadium in America and hosting semifinal and national championship games (not to mention Super Bowls, the CFB HOF and all of the other things).

Atlanta is the College Football Capital of America. Leaving it and letting the ACC make it their foothold would be a disastrous mistake. Especially right now.

Atlanta is ok, but I guess geographically it is the best spot to have it.

Wish it could rotate to NOLA every now and then.

Either place is a second home for Bama so I would have good to rotate it.

Atlanta really will be best long term home for football and it is the territory most in need of cementing.

Nashville is the best long term for both M and W basketball

Aside from anything else, having it in the same location each and every year means easier long term planning and long term relationships for lodging for fans that attend every year no matter who is playing.

Your huge Texas ego won't let you wrap your head around the fact that not everything revolves around your state.

Why there when Baseball Heaven is in the SEC's backyard?
