Sorry to say it, but at this point I'd almost rather not go to the Tournament than give Bjork any excuse to keep AK

I am glad you include an almost in there. I simply cannot ever cheer against an Ole Miss team. No matter how much Buckner and AK piss me off. My dog and wife would be much happier if AK got canned. I can tell you that.

The only team "in" right now is UF. Given what's left, MU and UK will likely make it. The winner of the Ole Miss and Bama game may decide which of those 2 teams make it, but not both. UT could still make it even with the other 4 if they win out and win 1 or 2 in the tourney.

We will almost assuredly lose again and we won't have to worry about it

Anyone have a link to a recent, credible RPI?

Obviously I am biased, but I really think UGA is the key for Kentucky and Tennessee. Even if UT beats Missouri at home with another loss to us this weekend they will have to make an incredible run in the sec to make it. Without Noel I just don't see UK winning at Arkansas or against UF which aren't terrible losses but you throw in a loss to UGA as well and they will also have to catch fire in the SEC.

I know I think more highly of UGA basketball than anyone else in this thread but I can easily see us beating UT and UK in Athens. We have an amazing ability of making other teams play down to our shitty level.

SEC is bubble heavy right now for sure. If Arkansas wins tonight it will be even worse. Right now this is how I see it.

1. Missou-easily in as of right now but that could change quickly with a L tonight. Looking like they'll be fine
2. Kentucky-Would get in if they seeded teams today. They probably need 2 wins in the regular season and 1 in the tourney. Looks probable
3. OM-Would also get in if they seeded today. They probably need to win 4 more games to get in though, however they come. I'll say they make it.
4. Tennessee-If they get to 20 wins they are a complete lock. Solid non-conference slate and plenty of road wins. Can't lose at Auburn.
5. Bama-Needs 2 in the Reg season and 2 in the tourney.
6. Ark-Not even really in the discussion unless they win tonight. Probably need 5 more wins.

There is no "last spot." It's not like the league is assured a certain number of bids.

No, but I think they'll get no more than four - hence my 'last spot' term.

They may (and probably should) get only three.

Fla
UK - but they better not lose any games other than Fla
Missouri - unless they tank
Ole Miss - not going to get in
Tenn - need to keep winning
Bama - need to win tourney, no good wins left on schedule
SEC is so bad I could see a miracle run by someone stealing someone else's spot

So beating Florida or Ole Miss wouldn't be a good win?

Actually I think dawg bb has been pretty good and they have fought hard in almost every contest after the first couple of weeks of SEC play.
