Times have changed. The country now realizes how good the SEC is. 2004 would not happen again

it wouldn't happen to a name SEC school unless they were up against name programs like USCw, FSU, OU, tOSU and it could easily happen to a team like Missouri in more than one circumstance.
the rankings still favor name programs and the conference name is less important than the media push around a particular program

and if you were to play LSU at their place they would probably have to file charges after the game for them murdering your asses. no matter the bowl OSU will be exposed, if not this weekend.

So do you have a problem with an all-SEC title game or not?

I have a problem with a non SEC title game.
Especially when they've won the past 7 times in a row and three of their teams are ranked in the TOP 5. Add in, that one of those teams just beat the other two in back to back weeks and I am very surprised that the SEC brass arent screaming foul.
Not a word out of Birmingham?
Its like oh well Auburn is getting screwed again at least next year there will be a playoff.....
If we trade the name from Auburn to Alabama in this same scenario is it OSU-FSU with an oh well attitude?

Do u really believe OSU would be undefeated with Auburn's schedule?
Against this schedule? Yes.
Washington St 6-6
Arkansas State 7-5
MSU 6-6
LSU 9-3
Ole Miss 7-5
W. Carolina 2-10
TAMU 8-4
FAU 6-6
Arkansas 3-9
Tennessee 5-7
Georgia 8-4
Alabama 11-1
Sorry to burst your bubble but that's not a murderer's row. There's only two hard games on this schedule - Alabama and LSU - and Auburn got beat badly in one and needed one of the craziest plays ever to win the other.

How many SEC schools would be undefeated if they played FSU's or OSU's schedule?
One - Alabama.

that's a maybe on Bama. If tOSU beats Michigan State that's at least arguably a better opponent beaten than Bama has done this year

Sad,
If this is what u truly believe then you have made a point that is difficult to argue against.
What is your prediction of the final score between OSU-FSU?

If South Carolina played Fsu schedule we'll be undefeated. Their two toughest games were against Clemson and Uf, both games we also won.

All you motherfrickers out there who have been railing against Alabama and all the other rival SEC teams saying that the only team you care about is your team, and you hope the other SEC teams lose all their games, well now you're about to see the importance of the conference being strong. If it wasn't for the Alabamas, South Carolinas, Georgias, etc., neither Auburn nor Mizzou would have ANY advantage over any of the other 1 loss teams......but you know what? There's still a ton of idiots out there who either won't admit it or are too stupid to understand it.

Andy - I honestly don't know. I've only watched FSU for about 5 minutes during the first half of the UF game. Can i guarantee a Buckeye victory? No. My gut tells me that it would be competitive - much more so than '06 or '07. Since I live in Vegas, I would be taking the over on this game!
