BS even with Tubby y'all were pretty DAMN good. The drunk was 12-4 in the SEC one year.

Consider the Drunk lost to the likes of Houston, Gardner Webb, VMI, San Diego, then you are right...we were good.
Also, Tubby never made it past the 2cd round in his last 2 years at UK...Stans majority of wins were on Tubby and the Drunk...smoke in mirrors...hell, even UGA got us on Senior Day (which we never lose).

Any particular reason why? I understand why you wouldn't run it with Cousins and Wall but without knowing the ins and outs of the DDO it seems like it would have fit well with last years group.

Ran the pick and roll with Knight, Miller, and lamb going inside to Jorts and Jones off the roll.
With Bledsoe and Wall driving the ball...but the majority of the time it went down low to Cousins.
This year, Cal has players that can all drive towards the basket...hence the DDO will be implemented.
Everyone talks about how Cal can not coach...well, he does a good job adapting an offensive sets that fits his players he has on the team that fits their strengths (see Harrleson last year).
