UKs starting Lineup alone has 4 first round draft picks on it.

c'mon brah. You're smart enough to know the difference. Trent might not be able to recruit but Stans cannot coach.

Stans is a heck of a better coach than people give him credit for.

His teams sometimes play good defense. His offense is atrocious.

His teams have led the SEC in rebounding 6 of his 13 years as head coach

MSU fans, I understand that yall have some potential. Don't be leaning on Freshmen in October though unless your UK. Dee is a freak and fat arse has talent, but time will tell if he will put forth the effort to play defense. Also remember football season and don't play the were going to be awesome and suck card. I'm not saying you will but make sure this team has some chemistry before you start talking Sweet 16s, because last years team had none.

Ole Miss isn't going to be a push over. Cre Nelson could be better in this offense than Warren if he learns shot selection. I have to think that he will or he won't be in the starting 5. Williams was consistent last year and I expect him to make a big jump in his second year in the league this year. Hopefully he will be a good 3rd or 4th guard come January when Kendrick can play. If he can join the rotation without hurting chemistry we should be able to make a run at the tourney. Our front court is going to be pretty deep. Holloway, Buckner, Henry and Short all have experience. Supposedly Cox has slimped down and that will give us at least 5 bodies that can play the post. Add on that we could put a lineup on the floor with everyone over 6-4 is going to be a long lanky zone that is going to be hard to penetrate. I'm excited for this season to get going.

We are going to run the dribble drive this year and I was wondering how important the 5 is in the offense? We have several guys who can get into the lane and enough good midrange and 3 point shooters but we don't have a low post option. UK ran it with Jorts at the 5 last year and it seemed to work fine but we aren't on the same planet talent wise as what Cal has at his disposal.

You don't need a five to run the dribble drive.

My buddy was at the scrimmage last night and he is usually pessimistic. He is now bragging on Deville Smith, Sidney, and Bost. How said everybody can score.

For the first time in a long time we will have guys that can get to the hoop & create, along with guys that can finish. Good size with big Sid, Moultrie and I think Wendell will bring a lot to the table this year. He made great strides down the streth last year, put up some gross numbers in the scrimmage I heard also.

I saw footage on genes page and Devile Smith is going to be Very Special.

He reminds me of Bama's pg except he has an outside shot.

Cal has yet to use the dribble/drive at UK.

This will be the first time this year he will run the offense at UK.
