12/1 - 6:30 PM Vermont @ (20) South Carolina SEC NETWORK +

The Gamecocks are 6-0 and coming off back-to-back impressive wins over Michigan and Syracuse. They beat both the Wolverines and the Orange by double digits behind stout defensive efforts.Like the Gamecocks, Vermont (6-2) is off to a solid start to the season. The Catamounts' only two defeats came against Providence and Houston. They are coming off a 67-65 win over Yale that followed a 72-71 loss to Houston in the Gulf Coast Showcase final Nov. 23 at Estero, Fla.While Vermont has a reputation as a dangerous underdog, the Catamounts have not beaten a ranked team since 2007, when they knocked off then-No. 14 Boston College.

12/1 - 7:00 PM (24) Florida @ North Florida ESPN3

Florida (6-1) is off to a hot start in its second season under coach Mike White. The excitement is building as the Gators prepare to play No. 5 Duke at the Jimmy V Classic on Tuesday at Madison Square Garden in New York City. North Florida (3-5) is struggling a bit after posting back-to-back 20-win seasons under coach Matthew Driscoll. The Ospreys earned an NCAA Tournament bid in 2014-15 and reached the NIT last season.

12/1 - 8:00 PM SF Austin@ Arkansas SEC NETWORK

12/1 - 8:00 PM Oregon State @ Miss St ESPNU

Vermont is the best of the 4 opponents.

Oregon State will be a Pac 12 bottom feeder, they are right around Stephen F Austin territory, slightly better probably. SFA should be solid in league play, but they are obviously missing a lot from last year's team that should have made the S16, including Underwood.

UNF looks to be dreadful.

UNF isn't very good, but it played on the road -- it'll be their super bowl as this won't happen willingly again since our arena is being renovated. We played them in the NIT last season and it was their "super bowl" then too, but this time we're going there willingly.

I expect the same result as last season or worse obviously.

But the games being played on the road don't hurt the RPI even if the team is shitty.

I can't wait for the game against Duke and can't wait for us to finally host a home game in just a few short weeks.

Curious about Ark. KenPom has them as the 4th best rated team in the conference, but they've only played one good opponent in Minn and lost by 14, but it was on the road, hard to get a handle on them right now.

Our fanbase is still curious about our team as well.

Though, Arkansas does have wins over Ft. Wayne, who beat Indiana and UTA who just beat Texas.

The Minnesota game was worst than the final margin of defeat. Arkansas was down 20 for most of the second half.
