Shooting % is a meaningless stat. I'm not saying you're wrong, but you can't determine whether someone is good by looking at their shooting %.

His true shooting % is around 58% which is good for an NBA guard, but I'm not sure how my expectations should be adjusted for a college player.

Correct. Why everyone limits themselves to 5, I do not understand.

1st:
Wilbekin
Pressey
Caldwell-Pope
Trevor Releford or Marshall Henderson
Patric Young
Lawrence Bowers
Nerlins Noel (if the injury holds him out then Jarnell Stokes will be next)
JOB 3

Player of the Year is Caldwell-Pope.

So are you a real dumbass or just playing one on the internet? Have you heard of "math"?

LINK

I might have fricked up the calculation cause I was using my phone, but true shooting % is a much better way of gauging someone's usefulness as a basketball player than the useless shooting % stat.

KCP is the league's best player.

Pat Young is the league's most overrated player (although he will probably now destroy us on Tuesday night).

Henderson should not be anywhere near this list.

Who wins DPOY now that Noel is injured? Does Noel still win it? Wilbekin has to be one of the leading candidates.

Patric loses focus on some games, but he makes a huge difference when he is on the court, not as much as Noel, but pretty much second best in the SEC. His presence in the middle changes everything. I don't care if he sometimes has butter fingers, but the way he plays defense, and sets up screens for our offense is just a thing a beauty.
He isn't overrated, he just needs to keep his focus, which is big I grant you, but the games he is honed in he is absolutely unstoppable.

Young is not as good as Stokes.

Noel, Stokes, JOB, and possibly Holloway are all better.

Holloway averages a double double.

Not sure why everyone is mad at Henderson.. no one has come close to passing him for leading scorer even when he had bad 15 point games. i would assume he has the most 20 point games this season.

Yes he is, and a million times smarter on the court.

POY: Elston Turner

Wilbekin should get some mention for DPOY since Noel is down. The guy is a lockdown guard.

Florida spreads the floor so well and shoots the ball at such a high rate from the perimeter that it really hurts Youngs stats.

Florida is a likely one seed and Young is the most important piece to the team.

So?

Steals is a practically useless stat. Hickey doesn't do anything well on defense other than get steals. He couldn't stop Releford on Saturday.
