No. It ought to be rotated around. Not fair for a couple of fanbases to have it in their backyard every single year.

Is sucks because they didn't gave a damn about baseball there and facilities suck. If it needs to be in bama let's have it in gulf shores at sportsplex. I am sure they would build first rate facility to host SEC tournament every year and people would much rather go there

You've been here for 5 years. Nobody gives a frick about what's fair to your fanbase. We aren't going to make somebody that's been in the conference travel 1000 miles away to Texas just to make the Aggies feel at home when y'all might up and leave after a couple more

Birmingham sucks. I means it's terrible. I would be pissed if they moved it there.

Maybe it is just a coincidence, but I'm in Birmingham quite often and I'm surprised at the number of LSU fans I find there. Most of them went to Birmingham after Katrina and never returned. If it sucks so bad, why have so many Louisiana people moved there?

The SEC baseball tournament is a family event.
Hoover is a family friendly area.
Nobody wants to march their small kids halfway across downtown Memphis or New Orleans past a bunch of hobos because there's no where to park, just to appease the alcoholics from Louisiana that want to stumble from the LSU game straight to a bar because they're already too drunk to drive the 10 minutes from Hoover to downtown Birmingham.

It wouldn't be the SEC Baseball Tourney without Golfer's annual bitchfest about the location. The football championship game is in Atlanta. The basketball tourney is currently in Nashville. The baseball tourney is in Birmingham.

When or if someone builds a baseball stadium in a non-Mogadishu area with RV parking, I'm sure it will be considered. The only thing I will concede is that Hoover is a food desert. Very little non-chain places to eat. However, for the Cajun, there are two places you should go: Cajun Cleaver for things to grill out and Swamp Monster BBQ. Both are near the Met and both are owned by displaced Cajuns.

The best thing Alabama has going for it...is that it's not Mississippi.

Just because the ballpark is in the Hoover City Limits doesn't mean you have to stay in the Hoover City Limits the whole time you're there.

Birmingham is one of the best food cities in the south, hands down. Just because what's on 150 in the immediate area of the Met is mostly chains doesn't mean there isn't enough world class options 15 minutes away to keep you busy the whole tournament weekend for as many years as the tournament decides to stay in town.

Hoover has just committed millions to do some fan friendly and other things nearby in the Trace crossings area.

It needs to rotate.

I am a single male in my 30s. Disposable income etc. I watch sec baseball a decent amount, but I wanted the CWS every year. I also have a lot of sec friends from different schools and we would often times get together to watch the CWS and conference tournaments.

We are fans of college baseball. Every year we go to the Minute Maid Classic here in houston and the attendance at those games can be really good.

We have no interest in traveling to the conference tournament for the best conference for college baseball. Because The idea of spending a holiday weekend in Hoover sounds miserable.

Put it in Pensacola/Nashville/Atlanta/Houston/anywhere but Hoover.

Sounds like a typical Tuesday morning for most LSU fans.

I agree with this. If I'm traveling for an event I want to go to a cool place. A conference in Vegas or bum frick Iowa? Hmmm....

Move it to more of a destination with a park with nicer facilities. More people will be willing to go.

It should be moved to Regions, but it will probably never happen.

So does every other location we've been proposing.
