Where is Auburn?

Most of the education for Auburn players happens outside of the classroom. Lee County Detention center does very well in teaching these young men an honest days work picking up highway trash while being watched by a guard with a shotgun. A good program, really.

Dude, you know I am right. The only reason bama is high on that list is they pass players regardless.

That is the ONLY reason.

You know it. Anyone that has any sense knows it.

It is either that or classes at Bama are such a joke even their football players pass with flying colors despite having to do all they have to do for football under saban.

It is one or the other and bama ranking so high on that list is just confirmation of 1 of 2 things, neither of which is anything to brag about.

Wouldn't you be if your favorite team was bowl-ineligible and your bitter rival was coming to where you live to play for a national championship?

Did an illiterate player graduate from Auburn or not?

I see some of you bashing the criteria. It makes sense though if you are talking about the academic prowess of the football players.

Did I just see BOISE STATE ranked ahead of Stanford and Notre Dame...?

Yeah, they shouldn't have wasted the time making that article if that was their conclusion.

This argument is just stupid. Neither side has any right to shite talk about academics. UA and AU are both great schools now but its wasn't long ago that both were below average.

UA is improving so much every year and it is really shocking how much different this place is compared to just 10 years ago. I don't know much about Auburn but I assume they are progressing as well.

They have some weird criteria, so don't put alot of weight in it...

If you read the article it is based on graduation rates of players vs the school as a whole. If Notre Dame graduates 90% in normal population and 75% in the football population they get hammered. If Northern Illinois graduates 50% in normal population and the football team graduates 60% then they wind up near the top of the list.

All it is really saying is that players at good schools are below their peers and players at bad schools are above their peers. Makes sense and not exactly rocket science.

I have honestly seen FIRSTHAND that Auburn, Alabama, and LSU have players that are borderline illiterate right now. Seriously.

I'm not surprised that you don't have the mental capacity to process why it is an interesting study.
