That's three more than Vandy, if I'm not mistaken.

Does this include Kentucky's 1977 cochampionship with Bama?

Pretty hard to take seriously from someone whose professed fandom is for a team that hired Bobby Petrino not once but twice...

Well, they were in the Metro Conference from 1983-1991 for Basketball. I am "sure" they would have won that league if they played football in that powerhouse conference!

Not sure where you've been at? There's only two historically good football programs in the SEC. I'm just using football because this is going to turn into a FB related thread. That's Bama and UT. Everyone else's championships in Football are super recent like within the last 25-35 years. Before that they were like us. Dust in the trophy case

Does Kentucky claim 1976? Or 1970? Because Alabama won the rest of the conference titles in the 1970s.

1976 and it's a co-championship (with UGA) because of State's forfeit.

It's kind of a wash with '77 where they went undefeated in conference but couldn't share the title because of probation.

Alabama was 7-0 in 1977. Kentucky was 6-0.

It wouldn't have been shared regardless.

Wouldnt have shared that one. Bama had one more conference game. it's what they did.

it's retroactive and UK lost to UGA as well that year. Is there a trophy in Lexington for this year?
