Sorry AU fans, the greatest player in the history of your program will be remembered as an NFL flop. But at least not an out of college bust like Bama players right?

I remember when all of your posts weren't so stupid.

Black Dan Marino, flop, roll tahd!!! = the average Bama fan's mind at max potential

Cam made the Pro Bowl twice in four years
And unlike any other QB, he got blitzed in the game because nobody likes him.

anyone who has watched Carolina much since Cam has been there knows how much of a bargain he has been for them, loading up on defense while supplying almost nothing on offense that anybody else would really want, outside of Greg Olsen. Simply because Cam can get points doing what he and only he can do. That being said as he ages Carolina`s way of doing things will have to change.

Lot of money to pay a gimped up and hobbled QB/RB that will be hurt more than he is not. Dude will have to retire before his contracts up from injury.

Meh news for the Saints. We are .500 against him and the Panthers, but 2 of those losses did come in the 2012 CSP-less season.

Just think of all the toilet paper that $100million can buy.

probably enough to wipe away LSU's tears after they limp their way to a 7 win season this year

Good question. What does cam newtons contract have to do with the SEC at all?

And yet here we are.

I actually wasn't paying attention to the board I was on and thought my post was in the MSB thread about the contact.

Cam made the pro bowl twice in 4 year. When is the last time Alabama had a quarterback make it even once? The 1970's or the 1980's probably

So did Vince Young. Go back and check the voting and you'll see that each time, at least three QBs were voted ahead of them and decided not to participate.

Also, Mark Ingram made a pro bowl

@ESPNStatsInfo: Cam Newton: 14-4 record after November (reg. season only). Only Tom Brady has more reg-season Dec/Jan wins than Newton since start of 2011

A lot of coin for a mediocre QB that will never win anything of significance.

FIFY. Shula is easily the most advanced offensive mind Cam has ever been around.

You know I agree, you guys should really think about bringing him back to Tuscaloosa.

Tons of rookie and early career records and two division titles. Honestly, it's pretty difficult to envision a better start for Newton without piling accolades and expectations on him. In the category of good but not elite QBs, which is where he's getting paid, it would be quite hard to argue against his accomplishments.
