makes the alleged $180,000 AU spent seem quite the bargain now doesn`t it?

More so Tenn in general. It's sad that the best they can do now is live through little brother's limited success.

Its a good off season for SEC QBs. I think they're getting 200million between the 2 of them.

I have some friends that are Auburn alums that honestly believe AU boosters didn't pay Cam to go there. I couldn't care less, because every top player gets paid, I just think the ignorance and/or arrogance of some of the Family (Auburn, not Charles Manson), is terrific.
Cam deserves every penny of that big deal, the dude can absolutely ball and is a tough son of a bitch.

In all seriousness what has he done his first 4 years to deserve $20 million a season?

I wish they could find someone else to invest 180k on.

Took a shite team with garbage receivers, a horrific o-line and elderly running backs to the playoffs twice already. If they can surround him with good players on offense, they will be a serious threat.

I saw their defense get them to the playoffs and Cam throw a lot of untimely picks. Oh and last year their division sucked bad and they only made it because of it. Even the head coach of the Panthers has said he has to make better decisions. He is a good player, but if I am listing the top 10 QBs in the league he isn't on it.

That's absurd, how many playoff wins do they have between them?

Congrats on his good rookie season. He hasn't improved much since then. I'm not saying he shouldn't be an NFL QB, I just don't get paying him $20 million a season for what he has done in his first 4 seasons. Yes he won 2 division titles, but the defense won the first one and last season the division was terrible, but someone had to win I guess.

Its the going rate for QBs. Look at Cap, Tanne, Dalton, & Flaco. What he's getting is right in line where he rates vs those guys.

Gone to the worst team in the league and broke NUMEROUS passing and rushing records, won the division back to back years (something Drew Brees and Matt Ryan have never done), won a playoff game, all with well below average personnel all around him?
