No it isn't, when discussing sports USC/SC = Southern Cal. You have to specify it is the other school who uses their acronyms as they are not as relevant as Southern Cal.

Yeah, we get it. South Carolina has sucked for a good portion of their history. To have to specify USC is South Carolina on an SEC board is shite and you should be ashamed.

Shame upon your house!

Yeah, typo.

The YouOfA is an official phrase used by the school in marketing.

My previous post's point stands.

You would have the point if message board poster used UA or YouOfA in reference to Arkansas.

They don't.

I said

was gay.

I maintain that stance.

Only an idiot would need it spelled out which USC you're talking about. Especially when we are on an SEC site and are talking about "who's gonna win the East?" or talking about specific players such as Clowney. Just figure it out on your own, dumbshites.

I sincerely hope you didn't spend as much time on this as it appears you did.

They do it to frick with you, fight the power.

USC wins the east this year, and I don't mean Southern California.

Some topics discuss, you know, the national picture, bowl games, MNC game, etc.

In cases like that it is important to specify USCjr when talking about USCjr.

One fails/breaks early, and the other raw dogs

UofM is a common one, Minnesota and Michigan fans use that term commonly. The annual game should be for the rights to the name for that year

UW would be too, but Washington is UDub, I always call Wisconsin Wisky, and Wyoming is Wyo

Until recently, everyone outside of SoCal figured SDSU(San Diego State) was South Dakota State(SD St)

The USC debate has me saying SC for the condoms, and SCar for the Cocks

Buckeyes get the little t, while it's easier to just say Beavers, and Oklahoma State gets OSU

Arizona=UofA

Who gets the UA during Bama/Arky games? Both?

UT - Texas, Tennessee

My common response:

Tennessee was a school before Texas was a state.
Texas might not even be a state without Tennessee (UT sent the most Volunteers to defend the Alamo- hence the name.)

Yeah exactly, use context clues. If you can't figure out who someone is talking about in a certain situation, then you're just being dumb/ a troll (Have you been on this site all day? You must have a shitty life if you get your rocks off by trolling on a sports forum)
