Don't kid yourself. The reads they're going to have to make isn't going to be natural to them.

So you're admitting it's a gimmick offense.

Once they get it down, it'll come down to who has the better athletes.

Advantage: Bama

Uga had some good rushing defense numbers and we put up 300 on them.

Yeah, decent numbers, but not against particularly good running games. 9 previous opponents...average ranking nationally: 62. South Carolina and Tennessee both ran for more than their average against Georgia. Missouri was the only decent team they held below their average.

While Alabama's opponents aren't ranked much higher...56th...since the VT game Alabama has held every opponent...good, mediocre, and bad...well under their average...about 100 yards a game under their average.

Throw out all of the stats you want to but if BAMA plays flat like Georgia during the first half against Auburn, it's over. You have to be a good team to have good luck and Auburn has both. The Iron Bowl is going to be the real SEC Championship Game/ potentially a pre-qualifier for the National Championship.

Just remember, he's a "genius". What he's doing no coach has ever thought of before. They can't figure out what he's doing.

Top 5 teams don't blow a 20 point lead in the 4th quarter. Top 5 teams don't rely on a miracle Hail Mary pass to win a football game against a team that is barely ranked.

They are a Top 10 team. But a Top 5 team? I just don't see it.

This year's Bama defense is not anywhere as stout up the middle against the run as previous teams. Brandon Ivory is a significant downgrade from Cody, Chapman and Williams. This is what worries me. If AU can run between the tackles, it's gonna be a long day.

Jesus loves the AU team more than in the past.

I think the real mismatch is Bama offense against Auburn defense.

Disagree. Ivory has been doing really well this year, so has Lake when he is in the game. In what games did you think that we were being pushed around in the middle?

Throw out the statistics.....Alabama has the better talent, better coaching, better QB, and " NEVER AGAIN" drilled into their heads from a Can Newton Comeback in '10, led by Gus. It will be tight first Quarter as each team tries to do and that.

I think Yeldon, Drake, and maybe even Henry have a great day at running. Look for Amari Cooper to get open in this game, OJ Howard, De Andrew White and other surprises..

Alabama 42. Auburn 21.......on to Hotlanta....the journey continues..

This year bama has faced one good QB. We saw what he did.

And will still have only faced one good QB after the Iron Bowl. What's your point about QB's? Do you seriously think Marshall is better than Mettenberger or anywhere close to being as good as Cam?

i'm just glad that dude williams isn't playing... he was near unstoppable in the middle.

I do think teams don't even really try to run inside on bama... or they're behind multiple scores and are forced to throw more. If auburn can keep it within one score (won't be easy), I think the inside running game can have some success... granted, it won't be like our other games. Tempo is also key... getting that first first down on a drive sets everything up (we saw it in 2010)... a couple 3 and outs to start the game could make for a long day.
