Did he admit he got outcoached in that first meeting?
The manual is available on Amazon.com. This was just posted on Twitter. You can order one or maybe ask Santa for one for Christmas

It gnaws at Saban and keeps him up at night that he only went 1-1 against LSU last year. It will forever be a blemish on his sterling record that he lost to Les Miles and LSU at home in a year where he claims a National Championship.
Yep. And thats no knock on Saban he's uber competitive. But yes, it grates at him no doubt.

Yea,Alabama is so great its just not fair. The Tide should play in the NFL. Maybe someone would challenge them.

Finally. Someone that gets it.

Most fans realized what a great game it was and that Bama was a great team. If u go back and look at posts after the game their was alot of respect being given by both sides.

This.

You could take just about any close game ever played and say "Yeah well if we had done this instead of that on these 2 or 3 plays then we would have won the game"

Saban isn't exactly wrong here but if that's the case then we can also say that was true for LSU in the 2008 game for sure and even the 2009 game if you really want to get into it.

Saban has basically processed himself at this point if he's believing his own bullshite.

Anyone know how many times the all powerful LSU tiggers managed to drive the ball across the 50 in both games combined?

No LSU fan is disputing whether we were better than y'all in the second game. Alabama fans can't seem to wrap their head around this concept though, even after winning the NC. Its pretty sad.

LSU beat themselves when Michael Ford stepped out of bounds in OT for the winning TD.

We also beat ourselves when Randle didn't snag a catch for a TD to end the 1st half.

Just how did they do that ?

Outgained us by a substantial amount. Set up several more scoring chances than we had. That game was lost on their kickers foot. Everyone of the field goals that kid missed were kicks that could have been made, and I am tired of hearing BS to the contrary. This fact does not take away from the great season we had. They were the better team last year. This year will be our year.

Yeah, he's a perfectionist for sure which is good for y'all..but he can't admit defeat even after he beat the same team again and won the national title

Insecurity--Exhibit A.

He had made one field goal coming into that game and several in that game were outside of 50. Up to that point in the NFL season, something like half the teams in the NFL hadn't even attempted a field goal of over 50 yards.

Thats the way they're all beginning to think isn't it? No one beats Bama. Bama beats themselves.

Saban got trolled by his own insecurity. Napoleon Saban

That insecurity (if that's what it is) is apparently driving him to be the best college football coach of his era. We'll take it. He wants perfect execution all the time and everything he does is designed to get it. It's impossible to achieve, of course, but when the standard is set so high, even when you come up "short" , it's usually plenty good enough. Again I think it is more about an OCD level perfectionism and drive more than insecurity. He will never be satisfied and he will always look at how things could have been done better with an eye to the next time.

But call it what you want, the shite works.
