I don't understand why a Gator fan would be this obsessed with LSU and Alabama.

It's called Saban. We had him once, we know the difference.

I live in Louisiana.
UF plays LSU every year.
UF has played Bama 6 of the last 8 years.
Bama's former OC is now UF's HC.

You're right. Why I should have any knowledge of what goes on at the top of the SEC West

Those are interesting facts and I hope that all SEC football fans consider your information. Thanks.

i partially read your first post when i posted. and i see what you're saying. i guess mett could be compared to coker somewhat. and flynn obviously being the guy in the system for years.....and simms was getting snaps as a RB leading up to the year he actually beat out coker, no?

but all this alludes to a point i made in another thread. doesn't matter the year or the qb, the bama staff plays to their strengths. we seem to strangle our qb's and force the round peg into the square hole.

Your point is also a very valid one.

Simple fact is, Alabama has had the good fortune of a revolving door of 3rd, 4th, even 5th year guys progressing through the depth chart and leading that offense, which is also an offense that helps out new starters.

LSU is starting true freshmen and sophomores and asking them to do things some NFL QB's can't do consistently.

Well, this is just BS

It's the SYSTEM being used not the QB. Bama uses all of their weapons and LSU doesnt.

IMO its not the QB's we bring in, its the idiots that you have trying to coach these guys up. In HS they are good QB's but we have no one to make them great SEC QB's, that's honestly what I think is holding is back, THE COACHES!!
