Maybe it was of recruits' game film. Nick Saban is a conundrum to me. On one hand I'm envious of his success but on the flip side I'm so glad I don't take life as serious as him. To each his own I guess

You would love the opportunity to give Coach Saban a rimjob and blowjob, wouldn't you? Don't lie, you know you give anything in the world for that chance. I bet if you offered the $1.5 billion dollar winning lottery ticket or giving Coach Saban a rimjob and blowjob, you would pass on the money.

Hours after Alabama won title, Nick Saban was already reviewing film in an effort to look more badass than is sincere.

Probably staged for cameras if it was on espn. I wouldn't be surprised either way if it was espn or Bama that came up with it.
Their double standard would be "What good does it do Les Miles to watch game film so soon after winning? We'll have our experts chime in on when he really should be reviewing it."
Frickin espn. Frickin Bama.

That's embarrassing if true.

Saban pandering to the cameras so we can all talk about how crazy he is? Shocking!

He's been working on that non-stop 24/7 for 6 years and still hasn't figured it out.

Preparing for the exit interviews. If he didn't do it then, he would have to waste recruiting evaluation time to do it.

I doubt it. He really looked like he wanted the guy to quit talking to him so that he could get back to watching the game.

Honest question: what's the value in watching film of your last game of the season at this time? I understand when you're getting ready for spring practice. But the day after the game, what would he be getting out of that?

After the season, he sits down with every player on the team and let's them know where they stand, what they need to work on, what is expected of them in the offseason, etc. You have to look at the last game of the season before doing that.

Do you think it's hard for Saban to act like he doesn't like talking to a reporter? That was probably the easiest part of the bit for him.

I would think that's standard practice for any team.

Never said it wasn't, but he's at least a week behind every team except Clemson at this point.

And he has some staffing decisions to make. If there's a deficiency in terms of coaching technique, he needs to know what kind of skill set to be looking for in a new assistant or how to help the assistants he retains meet that deficiency.

Plus, part of his process philosophy is to do the hard things first - invest your time, don't spend it. His goal is to be the best at his job. You don't become the best by staring at the window of a airplane.

Here's the short explanation.

Here's the full-length explanation.

Saban spent the flight home watching game film and planning recruiting

Stewardess didnt take him up to the cockpit and let him meet the captain and co-pilot?
