There is only one coach who has beaten Saban @ bama more than once....

I understand that. I know the records. I was going off the feeling of a lot of LSU fans toward Coach Miles based on postings on their message board, Tiger Rant. It's LSU fans that feel CLM can't beat Saban regularly and therefore I understand why they want Saban gone.

He gone.

Bama fricked.

I am confused. So many have been saying for a couple of years that AJ is just a game manager and is not really very good anyway. They give a list of all the great QB's that are better even tho Aj beats them.

Why would AJ leaving mean anything to CNS? He could just plug in any other QB and keep right on racking up rings.

Was he saying he didn't know what he wants to do based on the fact that he's asked Nick what he wants to do next year and Nick's response was "I don't know" or was Paul simply saying he ain't going to Texas?

Sounds very much like the later.

He meant that Saban's options are open for next year just like they have been since 2007 and PF doesn't know what he is going to do except not coach at Texas. Basically the same thing you could say any year he has been at Bama

I guess if CNS leaves then AJ was the only person good enough to make Saban quit?

The latter -

Finebaum was very clear, so much so he said he wasn't going to discuss it anymore.

So I guess by the same token you feel tidefans is an accurate representation of your fanbase?

You're saying Tiger Rant is the same as Tidefans? I'm sorry if that's true.

Translation:

Mack Brown has turned Texas around so they cannot shite can him this year, but I can call it quits for a year, recharge by watching the ducks fricking on the Lake in Georgia and then be ready to take over Texas in 2015.

Auburn fans are very selective in when they believe Finbaum and when not to believe him.

Saban won't leave this year. Maybe after a disappointing season next year, but I doubt that as well.

What did he say? I'm surprised he talked to PF at all.

Saban told PF he doesn't know if he wants to coach next year and PF turns around and told the whole world?

I have a really hard time believing Saban, being the way he is with distractions and recruiting, would tell anybody this.

To be clear I wouldn't be surprised in the least if this was his last year. But no fricking way he told Paul fricking Finebaum.

There are only 2 jobs I could possibly see him taking that do not involve coaching. The first would be as the SEC commissioner (Slive is 73) and I think Saban could actually be a pretty good commissioner. The 2nd would be as a TV sports commentator. I know he would be good at that. He's a smart guy, especially for the coaching profession.

That being said, I don't really think he wants to quit coaching yet. But the guy is a workaholic, he's 62, and he may be getting tired of working 14 hour days and all of the crap you have to do to recruit and to babysit certain players and to socialize with the boosters and on and on.
