Then why hasn't it? The balls on the tee for you guys and you just can't hit it. Makes no sense.

Does the basketball team still have the coloring book test? Quite the academics no?

I'm calling bullshite; gnat line runs from Augusta to Columbus (roughly along the natural fall line in middle GA) and Athens is well above that.

Well shite, we haven't even arrived at game 1 with your former DC that was present for all those national titles. Can you at least give us until January?

Nice incorrect reference to something that happened 13 years ago (it was a class on coaching basketball with a test that had a question that asked "how many points a 3-pointer was worth").

What's bullshite about it? The gnat line is a common reference in the state and it refers to the line that basically divides North GA from South GA, wherein there is a noticeable amount of gnats

The reality is that Georgia is just not all that you have it so hyped up to be, or might be. On the other hand, Bama's had no issue with being on top of SEC and contending nationally.

Every leader has to fall & somebody else take that roll. You should know that being a NYY fan.

All SEC schools used to have a no SEC transfer rule. Saban took some heat when he let Corey Grant transfer to auburn. He let Rick Clausen transfer to ut and he came back and beat LSU.

Yes, mentoring kids is a part of what they do but his responsibility first is to win games. If a kid gets mentored along the way fine but at any big time school your first job is to win games . If u don't believe it then stop talking about firing your coach as long as he has good kids.

Georgia is something they haven't been since Dooley. An actual national player. U have a Saban clone. Hell, his press conferences sound like Saban.

Yeah, plug and play. What does this have to do with Georgia's failure to be better than mediocre atop a gold mine? Easy question, maybe you will be the fan to explain it. Best, best, best, but...

Kirby wouldn't let uga players leave for any sec school or Miami... How is this different. Saban just wouldn't let him go to sec schools, that's less strict than kirbys rule... People need to quit reading too much into stuff that doesn't matter.

No one gives a shite about your inflated opinion. Everyone agrees Athens is a nice town but otherwise you bring nothing the table. Your academics are average and basically on par with Bama and AU. We have heard all this shite before from flagship fan boys from UF, LSU, and Aggie and Bama has cleaned all their clocks knocking the wheels off. Richt had all the so called talent and recruiting advantages you speak off and still couldn't get it done. You're fricking delusional if you think UGA is awakening giant because aside from 1980 it's been sleeping about 125 years.

Honest question for all these UGA/Kirby sunshine pumpers. The NCAA recognizes UGA as only having 1 national title in its 100+ year history. 1. SO now Kirby is gonna outrecruit his mentor and win national titles? Don't see it

His mentor is 82 and shrinking like a cheap wool suit.

I agree with all of this besides Saban politicking.......I think Kirbys gonna be good but here's the thing. You're trying to do what Bama is already doing and their not just gonna fall off. You're striving to compete on Bamas level and have a good opportunity to do so......will they continue to underachieve at UGA or did they hire the right guy ?

Looks good right now but it's August ... I'd like to see Georgia improve then our games would be closer and a little more enjoyable. I'd like that a lot so go Georgia.

Ps Athens is pretty cool !

On a personal level I think kids whether it be Turman from UGA or Smith from Bama should be able t go play wherever they want or can get a chance to.

However you have to respect be coaches stance to protect the program. And I do believe that not all players are the same and each case is different.

My only issue is I hope the national media keeps their same opinions regarding the issue , because it really seems their opinions change based on the illeg of coach. And that is what makes them ( the media) out to be biased.
