Ole miss has consistently been ranked and offers:
Top 10 Campus
Top 10 College Town
Top 10 Party School
Top 10 Best Looking Women
Member of SEC
Great Facilities
Young Innovative Head Coach is great recruiter
Chance to do something new
It's not like we are talking about Starkville here. People come from all over the country to go to Ole Miss.. It's not that far fetched with everything we have going to get a couple of top notch recruits as well

I believe the Veteran Coach is Mullen... Fbaum seemed to indicate it could be one or the other.
This fits Mullen's profile more than Saban.
Plus, why would Saban make such a statement? He has the number one class every year and a strong ole miss hurts Auburn a lot more than Bama.
I am convinced it is that skunk Mullen, is his team still on probation for cheating?

Well, it's obvious he has short man's syndrome. Carries over to some of the Bama fanbase as well.

Ole Miss better watch out. When he set his sights on getting revenge against us we got one of our worst beatdowns ever.
What was said last year when we had to play in their house. Them playing angry is good for us

"[Does the NCAA] stick to their guns like they said a few years ago and hold the head coach accountable?" asked a veteran SEC head coach. "Or is the NCAA going to wipe their hands of this? If they do, it's going to turn college football into college basketball, which is a free for all. They need to make a damn statement, sooner or later."
Go look in your facility parking lot, tough guy. Call up your boy DJ. Let's hold coaches accountable.

I hate ole miss but yes...this. It's a joke if this type of behavior is allowed to continue without a hammer drop.

Dont F with Saban. Despite what he says about molding men, building character, etc,....NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING is more important to him than winning and that is fine with me. We aren't good will ambassadors. We are a football program. generally character and morally correct people are or they aren't. Those things are molded as a 9, 10 year old. At 18, 19 20, it's too late anyway at that point. We know, Ole Miss fans know, the country knows and the world knows we shouldn't lose to Ole miss. Saban knows that too.
Great points. I agree with you that Saban is tenacious and he should be in rare form at Media Days. With all the other coaches gunning for Freeze and Saban leading the charge, this Media Days should be on Pay per View.

Yeah but he didn't have the ability to get revenge last year. He couldn't get revenge on us in 2013 because we still had JFF. But in 2014 when JFF left? Good lord.
When Kelly leaves he is gonna stomp a mudhole in yall so big that people will call your program the "Ole Miss Reservoir" when he is done.

How does that make ole miss feel. Yall beat Bama but they still went to the national championship. That should tell you how significant that win was and how significant the ole miss program is.

Program ending up as "Ole Miss Reservoir" Clever.

Ole Miss should be allowed to pay players to go to that shite hole State. It's only fair. They still won't win any championships.

I only caught part of the interview, but at any time did he specifically say it was a CURRENT veteran SEC coach?
It doesn't sound like Saban to me. He isn't really known for working behind the scenes with anon quotes. When he has something to say, he just flat out says it (see satellite camps). That, and as others have noted, there wasn't a single a'ight in the quote.
If he didn't specifically say it was a current coach, I'm thinking it could be Mark Richt. He's known as a stickler for the rules and he'd have direct involvement in at least part of the OM allegations.
Of course, the author of the story is Pete Thamel so the quote could be one he pulled right out of his arse.

Auburn fans should already be familiar with the fact that Pete and Mullen go WAY back.

Unless it's enforcing rules against bama of course.
You know the whole DJ fluker being paid by Luther Davis (bama booster) while in college. texts, bank statements, receipts and what not.
Nothing to see there
Meanwhile LSU can't provide financial aid papers and has limited evaluation hours for 2 years because a player who signed financial aid papers with us ended up signing his letter of intent with guess who?
I'm just glad ole miss is the pain in Saban's (emmert's) arse now
Here comes the boom

what an arrogant statement. you lost two fricking football games and you cry foul. don't tell me ala-fricking-bama doesn't cheat just as bad or worse. you've been caught at and that was just the tip of the iceberg.
how do you think your players got off of felony weapons charge? that DA is gonna get paid big time.
essentially bama fans are saying if a team beat them they cheated. y'all are bad for college football.
