he isn't being 100% serious in the literal meaning of what he said. He is just telling the blue hairs to help us youngsters bring the noise on defense. He knows arky has some weapons... Saban's a good fella...really

Yall are notorious for leaving early.

Against Northwestern St. Sure.
But I don't think LSU fans have ever needed a pep talk from the HC before a big SEC game.
Maybe Bama can start doing yell practice on Friday too.

Nah, I think he is just adding some fuel to the fire but your obsession with all things with Saban has been noted

Nothing at all. But it's the way Saban goes about asking. He always has to denegrate everyone else. He's just not a good person. Nothing more to it. The world has tons of a-holes who are very good at what they do. Saban happens to be one.

More importantly, I think it's funny he even has to ask this of the fans. Just another thing he misses about LSU.

Serious?

'Cause LSU fans would never evacuate Death Valley before the final whistle blows.

What about some of the recent NCAA issues that have affected so many of the schools?

NS: The rules things that get blown up now used to be considered minor. Now, it’s like these things are the same as giving a guy $200,000 to come to your school. A couple of illegal phone calls or text messages, and it’s like you’re a criminal of all criminals if you do anything that’s wrong.

Not hardly. Someone started a thread about a quote from Saban where he's being his typical a hole self. Is it obsession to call him out on it?
Really just seeing if there is one thing all clear thinking SEC football fans can agree on....Saban is a giant POS, who happens to be a great college football coach that wins lots of games. Certainly everyone can agree on this.
Except maybe bama fans are too thin skinned.

Coach Saban donates millions to his Nick's Kid's charity for helping all kids that need help. He donated $l million for scholarships at the University of Alabama. And during the aftermath of the tornado this year, he has donated his time and money to help the people that were affected by the storms. He visited Red Cross shelters to distribute clothing and talk to the people. He also donated $50,000 to start a project to rebuild houses for the people who lost their home.

You think you know all about Coach Saban's personal life, but all you know about is what butthurt reporters with agendas write about him. Or what you just want to believe.

I'm not thin skinned. I readily admit that Nick Saban is a jackass of the first order. (Glad he's our jackass)

I do not agree with your term, that he is "giant POS". I reserve that term for deadbeat dad's, welfare mom's, neighborhood drug dealers, etc.

My post above applies to you too. You don't know Saban as a person.

But as a coach, I would rather have an a-hole instead of a pussy that stands on the sidelines like a deer in the headlights.

Did he happen to mention he's a Midget? And is childish? And demeans his players and that's the reason he can't be a Success in the NFL?

Yeah, but I readily admitted that he is an a-hole on the field. I'm not judging him personally as some of you LSU fans are.

It's good that he makes the fans feel inclusive, but he needs to worry more about the O-line and a new starting QB.

Now that is one of the funniest things that I have ever read on this board. Have you ever been to or watched a LSU game when they were losing? LSU fans can clear a stadium faster than anyone.
How about a few years ago when Troy was beating LSU late into the 4th quarter, and a lot of LSU fans missed the best come backs ever.
I think the point that Coach Saban was pointing out was that if the fans want to feel like part of the team, then do your part. Stay in the stadium until the last play and be loud. Be loud if we're adhead and let our guys know we appreciate what they've done. Be loud if we're behind and encourage our guys to hang in there and still try to win.

I thought Auburn fans are the only ones in D1 college football to ever have fans leave a game early?
