Two pretty good QBS in Wilson and McElroy? Don't do drugs, breh.

God damn this place is spiraling farther into the shitter than I ever thought it could.

Seriously?

Why no one would ever think of this place falling all the way to biosolids at the bottom of the oxidation pond at the plant is beyond me.

Use your imagination and the sky's the limit.

In any given year, there are fewer than 100 quarterbacks on NFL rosters. The two you listed each made NFL rosters for multiple seasons.

If you're saying they weren't pretty good QBs, you're the one that needs to put down the crack pipe.

A couple of our posters have an agenda where quarterbacks are concerned. It may have had to do with girlfriends or lunch money. Take your pick.

It has been obvious Saban doesn't feel good about this team for a while. A coach that feels good about his team doesn't bring in a woman beater and keep a drunk after his 2nd DUI arrest

Why are you concerned with Coach Saban and how he feels about his team? I don't believe that you know what Coach Saban believes or doesn't believe. I have not seen a post on this board where a Bama fan really gave a flip about who Auburn has starting. We'll wait until the season starts and when Bama plays Auburn before it becomes of any concern.

well I'd feel pretty good about my team after a 12-2 season as opposed to an 8-5 season

but that's just me

Funny stretch dude.
Funny stretch? Every part of my prior post is fact.

You can only have one starter (sometimes two play).
No way. Teach me more to this football.

At least we have had guys that are brought up in Saban's system.
Congratulations.

AU has had how many transfers or JC guys at QB? How about the guys that did start? Where is Frazier now?
I don't see your point. Go ahead and remind me of everyone's opinion of Cam Newton and Nick Marshall BEFORE Gus Malzahn started coaching them. Future tight end? Defensive back playing quarterback? Can't hit the broad side of a barn? Awful projects?

Kiehl Frazier was just a huge bust all around that couldn't play FBS football, kind of like Star Jackson who couldn't even start at Georgia State.

Yes. Next question (about Alabama of course)?

Cam Newton was Tebow's back-up at QB until he was kicked out at Florida.

Actually he's said the opposite all spring about this year's team.

I'm aware, but what's your point?

When he was about to transfer to Auburn from Blinn Junior College, everyone labeled him as a terrible project by stating things such as "future tight end, terrible accuracy, Brent Shaeffer 2.0, can't hit water if he fell out of a boat, won't run on SEC defenses, etc..." Every bit of that is here on the SECRant leading up to the 2010 season.

Oh, so you're saying that Gus Malzahn made Cam what he is. I think he ran 6 plays at Auburn. They worked, though.

He is trying to breathe life into a slowly dying carcass. The little Dutch boy with his finger in the dam.

I have a feeling he gets more time. Not sure that is the right decision personally. Just don't think Battle is going to pull the trigger on another coach this year.

6-2 5-3 4-4

Rapidly dying. 3-5 will be ugly.
