Could be a Nike font that's copyrighted. I know LSU's font is copyrighted.

Facts and stuff (not sure the board wants that)

UT 5,550,000 Adidas
Auburn $4,300,000 UA
LSU $4,200,000 Nike
Bama $3,570,000 Nike
UK $ $3,525,000 Nike
UF $3,355,000 Nike
USC $3,200,000 UA
UGA $2,545,000 Nike
Mizzou $2,250,000 Nike
Miss $2,050,000 Nike
TAMU ???
MSU ???Contract expired May 30, 2014. New contract with Adidas is not a public record because it's between Adidas and the university's private athletic foundation.

Ole Miss, a team that hasn't won anything significant since before desegregation, has the worst collection of posters on this board (not counting LSU), and you are definitely among the worst of the worst.

Go frick yourself.

I do agree TA sucks though.

Yes, and if we do switch, lets hope Adidas owns the right to gold uniforms and the rest of the shite they've dressed us up in.

That is honestly surprising. When is Bama's deal up? I figured they would have the most valuable Nike deal

Every program in the SEC is Bama's little bro. So I guess you are right.

UT also thinks bright orange checkered pattern is stylish.

Without Bama winning that Rose Bowl in the 30s, Southern Football isn't a thing. Instead football would have remained an urban sport, a Yankee/west coast sport.

Thanks to the early success of Bama (and eventually GT), the SEC has long been a viable conference. Without Bama I think a few SEC programs don't have as many national titles as they do, as their talent would have gone elsewhere.

Everything else associated with the south implies this area is behind the times nationally. Except in football where we are cutting edge thanks to Alabama.

The logo was created by Nike when State signed in the mid 90s. Once the contract was over, Nike didn't allow State to use the interlocking MSU anymore. Back in the day football was Nike, basketball was Russell, and baseball was another brand. So you would see the interlocking MSU only at football games, basketball had the banner M (which is now the overall athletic department mark), and baseball had their own logo that is still on their hats and such.
