If I'm not mistaken, he'll graduate before the NFL. I can't remember when but I believe he's scheduled to graduate early next year.

If he has any respect at all for Saban's opinion, he will be gone. Saban WILL recommend he leave.

Exactly which is why I think he should go pro. I'd hate to see him leave but he needs to take the millions that will be coming his way.

If he's a '10 graduate he's done. There is no logical reason for him to stay unless Bama loses to Texass (uh uh, won't happen) in the NCG. Dude will be a top 10 pick easily and possibly higher.

And I can tell you that is not what Saban has said. You will be surprised. The only question is come Feb. will you man up an admit you were wrong?

He wouldn't be costing just himself millions. He has the opportunity to set up his entire immediate family for life.

yat & 1283,
These points have been gone over a few times in the thread, but crush "works with Saban and knows Ro", so throw your common sense out the window...

If he stays and says that Saban advised him not to go pro, then absolutely I will admit I was wrong.
I will then also say that Saban is an a-hole for advising him not to go pro, and I will lose a great measure of respect for him.

You guys are transferring your opinions and ideas onto Ro. You will be surprised what will happen. Come Feb I will bump this and you all will go "wow...you were right!" and I will go "I know."

I wonder why Crush is so desparate to "convert" all of us.
Crush do have some burning need to be justified? Or what? Why is this so important to you?

I read the first page of this thread only, and can only say this: If you are a Bama fan, and you want Ro to come back next year, then you must not care much about the guy. I hope the coaches are telling him that he should go.
However, if he did decide to stay and he got injured, then he could definitely have a successful coaching carreer.

Yeah...Devil knows....just watch how wrong he will be. That is all I have say.

I would love to have Ro for another year. What he's done as a leader on this team has been needed for a long time. Having him a fourth year would be huge for the team next year.
If he's smart, he wil go to the NFL and I totally understand if he does and really encourage it. He's given Bama his all for 3 years and now he's in a position to provide for his family and be set for life. I hope he has a successful and fruitful career and I think leaving now would be the time to do it from a personal standpoint if I was looking at it from his position.

So give me ONE reason he comes back if y'all beat Texas. Just one. And don't give me this "I'll lose my job bullshite." There isn't some profound reason no one is thinking of especially if he's an early graduate.

Mark this thread. Come back to me in Feb.
Bad part is...I will be the only one to bump this come Feb.

Ro loves college ball. He loves that passion. And he loves Hightower. NFL is not his main goal. Never has been.

+1 It will be very selfish of Saban to advise him to stay.
