Lingering shoulder injury.

Kyle Shanahan:
quote:
“Our doctors do a great job, they looked into everything with Reuben and met with him, and our doctors felt good about his shoulder. They thought it was recovering well, they didn’t have the same report a lot of other teams did. You never know who’s going to end up be right, everyone’s trying to do their best to figure it out. But no one can tell the future.
“I just look at it as, you go with what your doctors say. And then you always think about, ‘Alright, what about the worst-case scenario? What if this is true?’ The worst-case scenario is, the shoulder doesn’t heal correctly and you got to do it again. When you have to do it again, you gotta get another surgery, so it’d be tough to play this year and you’d end up having him the next year.
“But, it’s not something that would hurt him long term. So, the worst-case scenario, he wouldn’t be able to play for us right away. But I still don’t think that would have changed how I personally felt about taking a guy with the 31st pick with the caliber of player that we took.”

Keep playing that hit Gumps. Looks like LF7 handled that hit a little better than RF10.

You're still salty about a player knocking the soul out your starting running back 3 years ago?

They still will be 30 years from now...

He didn't say it was likely. He said the worse case scenario is that he would miss the whole year.

Nope. I think it's a shame that the Bama program continues to wring everything out of their kids in a 3 or 4 year period. When players don't get flagged for launching themselves and leading with the crown of their helmets, they continue to do it. That takes a toll on the player over time.

Typical SECrant overexertion which causes overreaction. Hey Jeff, get fricked clown shoes.

Foster became a much better tackler his junior and senior years. He had a bad habit but on that particular play wasn't targeting. He's since fixed the habit and delivers 100% pain.

Didn't Foster decide not to go to Dr Andrews for this procedure? Did he ever give a reason why?

Reuben dropped his head on damn near every tackle he made in high school. A large part of why it took so long for him to see the field at Alabama was because they had to rework his tackling technique.

I still don't understand that. He's widely considered the best sports injury surgeon in the country.

I bet you were okay with it when Saban was at LSU.

Saban didn't do that at LSU. He treated his players right. That is why his former players from LSU talk good about him. He was a good guy then. He lost his way when he left for Miami. Then he lost his soul when he went to Bama. You never seem to hear his former Bama players talk good about him.

Name one Bama player that's ever said a bad word about Saban. Also, quit being so envious...it's not a good look on you. You tainty twat.

Yes. He took bad medical advice from his agent and went elsewhere, and now it could possibly cost him his first year in the league.
He shouldn't have hired the shady MMA guy, honestly.
