I'm not sure why you're so angry about my response.

You think I'm angry. You are really delicate.

Nobody could live up to his initial hype. It's unfortunate that LSU fans perpetuated it.

And Rivals, 247sports, ESPN, Scout.

quote:

Why are you trying to make this a pissing contest about Bama?

Because you seem oh-so-content to flame the discussion in the direction of Chubb vs. LF when most LSU fans have already complimented the phenomenal year that he had. The problem here is if LSU fans dare say they still believe in LF and his potential they are mocked and ridiculed. When he blows up this year this board will be flooded with stats. If Chubb doens't build on his great freshman year it will be amusing to watch the excuses by all here who have mocked LF all off-season.

quote:

Mark Ingram came in ranked a 3* by Scout and a 4* by rivals. Completely irrelevant comparison.

My point about Mark was that he went on to have 1600+ yards and won the Heisman. do you really think LF won't get up to those type of numbers if he stays healthy?

quote:

But for what it's worth, Derrick Henry was better than Fournette in every single measurable category vs SEC competition.

On this one I'll go to bat for LF. DH is a huge pussy and I wouldn't want that big soft scat back on my team. It's not a pissing match. It's my opinion.

There we go. The definitive stat from someone who has seen both up close.

That's just the difference I could feel after your mom was with both of them.

The only problem I have with most LSU fans saying he has more potential is that almost all the the reasons they list are bunk. They are typical fans who know a ton about their guy but very little about the other one. The only one I can agree with is LF will get fewer carries so he'll be fresher for the NFL.

Tuscaloosa was triggered. It was the reason for this thread.

What exactly was the reason for this thread and at what point was I "triggered"?

I just posted the stats of all returning RB in the SEC.

Why do you people hate threads with actual information in them?

If stats are the only thing that determines talent, then LF will never satisfy some of you.

How would you determine the better back?

I'm more interested in looking back at these three in a couple years, after their college careers are done and they've been drafted.

That certainly is a doable thing, but then you would not be comparing who the better college football back is. You would be determining who the better NFL back is. The OP clearly says Chubb is the better back in the conference. College.

Because there is no stat measuring LF's enormous potential. Which makes all your silly stats meaningless dummy.

What point is that? That if a running back gets fewer carries then he is obviously the better back?

So then give me some legit reasons.

Damnit Richt, why did you turn to the dark side? Is that elusive national championship that important to you?!
