I'm actually with you here. Not that I think we could hire him even if we wanted to.

We will see but I think both Cincy coaches would come based on what happened last coaching search.

Tyndall and White definitely would.

Don't you think that's a little bit over the line? Hell, it's cruel and unusual punishment even. I wouldn't even wish him on you.

Guy is living off one fluke run when his team shouldn't have even made the tournament.

Wade Houston. Except he was living off his son instead of the other way around.

Do you truly believe you're going to land Greg Marshall at UT?

considering Smart turned down UCLA last year and Marquette this year to stay at VCU, I don't think you need to worry about that. But, were Tennessee able to get him, they'd be lucky. he's a fantastic coach

he's living off the fact he's made the NCAA tournament the past 5 seasons at a school like VCU. How'd you feel about Bruce Pearl when he was hired? Was he just living off a fluke run that didn't go as far as Smart's?

Gregg Marshall - not happening
Ben Howland - good coach and recruiter, may be a train wreck anyway
Mick Cronin - not happening
Chris Mack - turned down the school that took Martin. So no.
Richard Pitino - no.
Michael White - mid major guy. These are frankly a crap shoot. Cuonzo was a "solid mid major" hire when y'all picked him
Donnie Tyndall - see above
Archie Miller - see Anthony Grant

Like y'all could get him. He has turned down better jobs than UT.

Almost took the job last time, but Pearl's NCAA stuff scared him off. He is in a similar situation to Buzz Williams in that he has problems with new administration at X and the new Big East. Tennessee job is much better than Cal, especially for his staff and their ties. I am very, very confident he would take it if offered.

Admin problems here as well. Best buddies with Butch. We will see though.

This. We had never even made the Sweet 16 before. He has also made VCU nationally relevant.

If VCU was left out of tournament like they should have been in 2011, his accomplishments at VCU would look pretty bad next to Anthony Grant.

Anthony Grant helped a little with that.
