I just put down the facts. Ill let you guys decide if they have a problem is Oxford. I was fine in letting this go but the Ole Miss guys constantly berate state fans and try to make us look like idiots, The truth is, we know exctly what's going on, hell everybody does if they just look at the title thread. You can talk all the shite you want but the FACTS are right there.

I guess none of those 30 something players were good enough to play at Ole Miss.

Define "good enough?" From a football standpoint, I'd love to have several of them. But if they are too lazy to go to class and bust their asses in practice, then, yeah, they're not good enough. Every program should be run that way.

So why are you so obsessed with comparing yourselves to them then?

Dont you guys constantly compare yourself to Bammer? And I mean, like every 5 minutes?

There's at least 10-11 on that list that never even made it to campus (either due to grades, MLB, whatev), so I'm not sure you could count those as attrition since they were never even here to begin with.

What message board did this come from? Ive got a pretty good idea

And rightfully so. Dude is one of the biggest douchebags I've ever seen coach the game. And that's saying something when you've seen urban, saban, petrino, and chip kelly talk.

Nutt's signees must have been partying too much on the square. It seems they dont want to sacrifice and work hard in the classroom and practice field to be part of the NUTTASTIC REBELUTION.

Well that track record was already derailed with the most higly rated guys of last year's class all sticking around. Some saw time on the field and others redshirted. We're pretty excited about that.

I will give you that.

I think that Nutt has tightened up his discipline and that should help with player retention.

Serious question, why has State been able to retain so many of their signees between 2008-2010?

The fact is Dan Mullen has kept 48 of 53 kids he has brought to campus, and if you don't think that makes a difference then you are sorely mistaken. Aske the Rebs if it matters.

Discipline, as far as I can tell. I think your observation is correct. From what my sources tell me, Nutt's not fricking around anymore. He used to not give a damn about weed, skipping class, etc., so long as they won games. But, after this past season, he's doing what he can to get his players to straighten the frick up.

That's one reason he was happy to let Grandy go. Dude failed a bunch of drug tests and was scraping by academically.
