Didn't read al of the thread -
I don't know of anyone that thinks Lacy is chump change. He's going to be a beast especially with that offensive line.
However, what I have seen most people talk about is his health. He always seems to have some kind of nagging injury. If he can stay healthy, he'll probably get Heisman recommendations.

You're basing your argument off of where they were rated on Rivals.com coming out of high school?

All of this coming from an Aggie? I wonder what your pregame analysis from the UTx-TAMU game was last Nov before Bevo made you his bitch?
Stick to pep rallies you're probably better at it.

All I know about lacy is that in two games VS LSU he didn't avg 4 YPC.

Do you ever actually post about sports? All I ever see you post about is other posters, other poster's opinions, and flaming. I've never seen you actually talk sports.

First off, this is so Bama centric it belongs somewhere else.
Secondly, Ingram was so overrated it was unbelievable. The Bama hype machine robbed Suh of a Heisman and Ingram spearheaded the choke job against Cam Newton.
Richardson is also spare.
Alabama running backs are a product of the offensive line. Nothing else. They aren't special.
I'd like to hit back on this, but I feel too guilt every time I think of the fact that we took the only two good coaches you ever had, and when you tried to pay us back you ended up stealing Fran.
Good luck this year - I'm too sympathetic to say anything else to an Aggie fan.

If Branding Williams gets his waiver cleared... Damn close. If not the best, then the top 3 are still light years better than every running back on Alabama's roster.
Even an Auburn or Tennessee fan would tell you that this is an utterly asinine statement. Clearly you people do not belong in the SEC just yet.

He's a legit 1000 yard SEC back and his health of course will determine if he does any better than that. I do not think he's as good as Ingram and Richardson, but the Alabama offensive line might make him look better than what most are predicting.

Neither do I:
Richardson
Ingram
Lacy
IMO..and we have yet to see anything from TJ Yeldon so we'll see if he is as good as advertised. Lacy is a good strong running back, but he is injury prone as well.

I agree. I think he had a bad injury in highschool. He's had the turf toe and now the ankle and knee sprain.
I like TJ but I'm very interested in seeing exactly what Dee Hart can do.

More like carried off. He tore his ACL during fall camp. If he has his juke back, he'll be a good one.
