Not sure if serious. Or just posting on a cell phone that doesn't show post counts.

So you just happened to miss the thread on the first page that's 4 pages long that says "Lacy isn't in the same league as Richardson or Ingram" in the OP?Also you missed the other 50 threads in the last 6 months saying the same thing?

Bottom line, anyone, Bama fan or rival fan, who says that Lacy isn't nearly as talented as Ingram or Richardson is very uninformed and are making themselves look stupid.

Toby Gerhart and Colt McCoy both laugh at this

Both were scrubs compared to Suh. Suh was the best defensive player of the last decade. Ingram wasn't even a top 5 player at his position, much less his side of the ball. Bama hype machine stole a Heisman. Plain and simple. And his backup takes over the starting role two years later and is underwhelming.

He's an A&M fan, thus his opinion while retarded is insignificant.

[quote]1.I hear this one a lot "Lacy isn't as talented as Ingram or Richardson".This statement is absurd for a couple of reasons, coming out of high school Ingram was a 3 star RB ranked as the 58th best RB in his class, Lacy was a 4 star RB, ranked the 22nd best RB in his class, he is every bit as talented as Ingram. [/quote

If you think Lacy is as talented as TRich,I'm done listening. TRich is the most talented rb since AP. period. Lacy is not as talented. Period. No one is saying lacy is a top 5 pick.

Ok 2 things:

1)Recruiting rankings don't mean shite. Durrell Robinson was one of the top 2 ranked WRs in the country when he came here. He didn't do shite, and I'll wager none of yall have ever heard of him. But based on high school he should've been as good as AJ Green right? Just because Ingram was ranked lower than Lacy doesn't mean Lacy is as good as Ingram.

2)It's pointless to compare the first 150 carries of their careers since Lacy and Richardson (and maybe Ingram, I'm not familiar enough with your team) got those carries in backup duty. The majority of those carries probably came in mop up time when the game was out of reach against the other team's backups, or when giving the starter a breather. I don't really care what someone did against backups.

Now, with all of that said...I think Lacy is a very good RB and have no doubt he'll be a force for yall. But to try and prove that by high school stats or numbers against scrubs is worthless.

Any chance you would step into the ring against the A&M tard?

I would enjoy seeing that debate

Anyone whom denies TRich's talent , doesn't know football. Period. He has it all. Doesn't have burner speed but is fast enough, vision , pass catching ability, pass blocking. He is a 3 down back. Of course a good oline helps.

Lacy might not be as talented as Trent, but he is very talented in his own right. He hits the hole quickly and is a load to bring down. He has a bit more of a downhill running style than either Ingram or Trent. That said, I don't know if he'll be as good in short yardage situations. Ingram and Richardson were both good at finding a little space and pushing ahead for a couple yards. I haven't seen Lacy display that capability but he may have it. I wouldn't be surprised if he had more long runs than Trent or Ingram.

If he's healthy he will get the large majority of carries and put up big numbers.

I agree, except he is easier to bring down than TRich.

First off, this is so Bama centric it belongs somewhere else.

Secondly, Ingram was so overrated it was unbelievable. The Bama hype machine robbed Suh of a Heisman and Ingram spearheaded the choke job against Cam Newton.

Richardson is also spare.

Alabama running backs are a product of the offensive line. Nothing else. They aren't special.

I like Lacy, but we will see how he holds up. Turf toe is no joke. I don't see the running game being too much help in Baton Rouge. Get ready.
