Reality check: Bama is going to beat UGA hands down

With all the scenarios out, it seems fashionable to have UGA in the NCG.......not going to happen.
Bama is suited to stop UGA versus a spread team. Forget the game being in Alt, the Gumps have a strong enough presence in the area that they will get the seats.

The only way Nick Saban will lose is if he chooses to lose right?

If Murray has a good game UGA could pull it off but they'll have to play very well and limit turnovers. Bama's secondary isn't that good.

If LSU's weak Offense can move up and down the field on Bama, UGA's Offense can also because UGA's Offense is way better than LSU's. And UGA knows how to go at it one better and find the endzone. And yes, UGA would beat LSU also.

quote:That's right. TAMU showed how weak Bama's Secondary is. TAMU also showed that Bama can be beaten. Something that LSU could not do.

Wrong. LSU could not even beat UF.

It's not possible for LSU get better as the season goes on is it?
Hell a first year starter at QB and 3 starting offensive lineman out for the year and LSU should be have been firing on all cylinders from the get go right?

It's time to put down the bottle.

LSU put 41 on Ole Miss and UGA only scored 37.
Have a nice day.

LSU was better last year. I believe UGA would beat this years LSU team. But we will never find out unless some miracle happens with Auburn this weekend.

As much as I hate it, Bama will beat UGA soundly. We all have seen how well Murray plays against Top Ten teams.

I still wouldn't call the secondary weak. It isn't as good as advertised through the first 8 weeks but it's not a weak secondary. Let's not forget that aaron murray has looked very pedestrian against defenses worse than what alabama will field.
At first I was concerned about this game but the more I think about it the more optimistic I am. Saturday showed that playing with a target on your back isn't for the weak, I think that makes what alabama accomplished on the first 8 weeks and what lsu was able to do last year that much more impressive. UGA and UA go into this game with the same thing on the line, it's not like one gets to play spoiler while the other plays tight. In other words, I expect the fire breathing dragons to show up

If you look at the common denominators between LSU and UGA, one would be inclined to think UGA would have the edge over LSU on neutral field.

Bama fans will see this weekend. I hope you don't think that Bama is going to roll over UGA. If so, YOU need to put down the bottle. Whoever wins? It will be a hard fought close game.
