Some of you people are criminally insane. Richt had a terrible year this year, no doubt. But to have him 8th, 9th, 10th in the league? Are you fricking kidding me? Please explain your reasoning for Brooks, Kiffin, Chizik, or Petrino to be above Richt. I beg you. Someone sited recruiting for Kiffin to be so high? Are you retarded? Look at Richt's recruiting. You guys realize that Richt has the same record since he started (2001) as UF does right? Yeah I know UF has 2 NCs, which is why I don't put him above Meyer. That would be ridiculous. Look at Richt's overall record, conference record, road record, SECCs (and appearances), bowl wins, recruiting classes, etc. You ppl who have Richt lower than about 4th or 5th are dumbasses to the extreme.

Saban
Meyer
Brooks
Petrino
Richt
Spurrier
Nutt
Kiffin
Chizik
Mullen
Johnson
Miles

Probably a bit harsh on Bobby Johnson really, I had a hard time figuring out the rankings after Spurrier.

1. LSU still has some history before Saban.

2. LSU has far greater resources than USC ever thought of having.

On pure coaching ability - overall, I'd have to revise my list and put Miles last.

He's done less with more than any other coach in the conference.

Some of you guys confuse recruiting and coaching ability. I think the top 4 or 5 coaches in this league would have similar records with teams of similar talent. If coaching ability was based on doing more with less then Brooks would be at the top. If you're a great recruiter you can only prove to be a bad coach because an average coach can win 10 games a year with great talent. A good coach doesn't have to have a great record but his team needs to play better(overachieve) than it's talent level.

Nick Saban was outcoached by exactly one guy all year this year, and that guy is in the bottom three of most of your rankings. Here's a hint: its the same guy that had Crompton leading the SEC in TDs most of the year.

I know, I know, this is the SEC Rant.
