Everyone wants to turn a blind eye to the drops and JFF's misses. A&M's offense made a lot of mistakes that they weren't pressured into making. Where was their heart and focus? Did the weather seriously affect their ability to catch?

Y'all aren't DBU though

Congratulations on producing many defensive backs that succeed in the NFL. Those of us who favor or only care about college football couldn't care less about LSU being DBU. Your secondaries have not been the best over the past few seasons.

That's because we were all up in his head from the opening drive when he couldn't just run around and make plays. He never looked comfortable back there yesterday.

And you still won't be bringing in a DB class as good as LSUs.

And your secondary still won't be the best in the league. This is the SEC Rant. We discuss college sports. IDGAF about NFL production and results.

One game doesn't prove that LSU's defense has turned things around. Y'all already got shredded by Georgia and Ole Miss and dominated by Alabama in the second half.

LSU hasn't had the best secondary this season.
Florida, Alabama, and Georgia's were all better last season.
Alabama was better in 2011.

No. Clearly as the Alabama fans have said in this thread JFF was just off. The defense he played had nothing to do with it.

They just can't imagine a defense other than their own has a better performance against a common opponent. It's not in their DNA to give credit to anyone but their own team.

I was really trying to figure out WAHT was wrong and couldn't

Had a good game, but we should pump the brakes on any "he is as good as PP7" talk. Need a bigger body of work before that claim can be made.

It's no laughing matter.
Alabama wouldn't have given up anywhere near 465 yards passing to West Virginia University.

The best common opponent they had was Arkansas, and both defenses performed similarly.

Yeah. I'm aware where I'm posting prick.

Nobody in this thread said that LSU has had the best secondary this season. We have two true freshmen starting corners and two average safeties. The discussion was about our performance against A&M yesterday and how our defense plays them better than any other in the SEC. The numbers don't lie.

Congrats on having great defenses in the past. Look at the thread title and then tell me where that has anything to do in this thread.

The DB discussion was started by your own fellow fans who like yourself can't believe/admit a defense other than your own may match up against a team better than yours can. He the proceeds to act like Alabama is the only school bringing in crazy DB talent.

If you want to talk about COLLEGE DB's well we've recently had two Thorpe awards winners with Peterson and Claiborne and two defensive players of the year on Peterson and Mathieu. But yeah, crazy for LSU fans to act like we've had crazy successful DBs

Who said this? Last night LSU had 3 true freshman play the majority of the game. It was the first time all season and they shut down one of the best offenses in all of college football.

You are acting like Bama fans say the LSU fans act yet the Bama fans never actually act themselves.

Since you like to do this, compare our defensive performances versus A&M THIS year.

Nobody is saying you don't have a better overall defense this year but clearly LSU is better at shutting down A&M

Are there people seriously claiming Alabama has a better defense to stop the spread/HUNH? LSU has made the [one of the] most prolific offense[s] in SEC history their bitch for 2 years in a row.
