Exactly. At no point did I say bama had scrubs or that bama didn't has elite players. It's comments like this that let you know he let's bama football determine his self worth.

Its really incredible how sensitive Bama fans can be. Any thread that doesn't have anything to do with them has to somehow be twisted into the glorification of their team.

I think the weather and what LSU was doing got to JFF and Sumlin. They are used getting big plays and they just couldn't get on track. LSU running the ball and keeping them off of the field didn't let them get into any kind of rythmn offensively.

Bingo
Was one of the best CB jobs of the year

Evans is a tough match-up
LSU's CB took care of all that

Just made a comment about titles. Seems that if you had the GOAT units you would have something to show for it. Judging by your comments on being voted into the title game, perhaps you are insecure as well.

Anyway great job to Robinson.

What? He's not going to do shite on Sundays. WTF are people seeing that I'm missing other than a big body? He's gonna get smashed in the league with that BS he does.

Lsu's 2010 secondary

Brandon Taylor
Ron Brooks.

North Carolina had 412 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, and no interceptions versus this bunch despite LSU having an entire offseason to prepare for their season opener. Do you mind explaining the Arkansas game? 13.9 yards/attempt is mind boggling. That defense gave up 15 touchdowns and only made 19 interceptions. Mississippi State really helped your stats: 116 yards, 0 touchdowns, 5 interceptions.

Wow. I'm impressed. The dline and DBS must have given LSU a lot of titles, no?

My sentiments. I'm not denying that LSU develops a lot of great individual talents. LSU also fields good defenses. Despite all the star-power, DL/DBU's hasn't been the best at consistently limiting team's passing the past few seasons. LSU should be fielding the best defensive line and secondary more often. Teams shouldn't be able to move the ball through the air on them.

How is this getting off topic? Rashard Robinson did something yesterday no one in college has done yet, and I'd be willing to bet Evans gets some crazy numbers in te next two games,

And he's just a frosh. Let's stay on track.

How did your freshman corners match up with him? I forget.

Yep. Helped win the 2011 sec title.

Untrue. We have trophies and quite a beautiful display wall for the team and achievement outside of tiger stadium.

And your 2012 #1 defense let the 85th ranked offense(lsu) move the ball at will last year.
Your 2011 greatest defense of all time have up 390 yards rushing to Georgia southern. It happens

No it's not. The NCAA doesn't recognize national titles in div1 football. They do recognize conference champs.
It's also harder to win the sec than it is the bcs. You can't finish 2nd in the west and win the sec title. This is the reason bama has 2 sec titles in 13 years. No amount of media bias or begging will get you into the secc.

Well you've backed into your last two. Losing , at home , in late November. Lsu also backed into both of our BCS titles. The bcs title is the most subjective title in American sports.

• In first career start, shut down Texas A&M’s top receiver Mike Evans, holding him to just 4 catches and 51 yards. • Matched with Evans in man-to-man coverage for most of the day and limited the SEC’s leading receiver to his season SEC-low for receptions (4) and second-lowest yardage output in an SEC game this year (51) … Also held him without a TD. • Evans came in with a league-best 12 receiving TDs … Had 2 tackles and his first career interception in the game … Interception came on A&M’s first possession of second half and resulted in a LSU touchdown 9 plays later that stretched the Tiger lead to 31-10.

341. 121 and 14 points from 2 big plays.
Don't act like the LSU offense that took the field versus Alabama last year was the one that was responsible for the #85 ranking that season. That was Mettenberger's best performance that season, and it didn't help that Alabama's offense couldn't stay on the field. Furthermore, I've stated many times that Florida had the best defense in the SEC last season. Mettenberber threw for nearly 300 yards, but his team only scored 17 points, and it wasn't due to turnovers either.
